I'm selling my Subaru Forester XT 2005. The XT is the top model for the Forester, and has a turbo engine as well as the all the top end specs. I'm the 2nd owner and have full service history of previous owner as well as mine. Everything works perfectly with cold ac, Huge panoramic sunroof, heated leather seats as well as premium winter package which includes heated mirrors and windsheild wipers. Strong transmission and AWD that is great in the snow, and fuel economy is good also and gets around 26 mpg on the highway, 21mpg in the city (I monitored it over about a month to get these numbers). Has a clean carfax with no accidents. Has slight surface blemishes on the rear fender, and a small scratch to be expected on a car of this age. Car has always been owned by non smokers, and the interior is in amazing shape.
Really sad to be selling this car as it is great condition, but needing to sell as looking to get something larger for my new business. |

Subaru Legacy pitted against Roadkill project cars
Fri, 05 Sep 2014There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.

Subaru teases all-new Legacy ahead of Chicago debut
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Following the debut of the Legacy Concept at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, it appears Subaru is now ready to show us the real thing. The Japanese automaker has just confirmed that a production-spec Legacy sedan will officially bow at next week's Chicago Auto Show.
All we have to work with right now is the teaser image you see above, as well as some general overview-type stuff from Subaru in regards to its new model. According to the company's press blast, the next Legacy "is a midsize sports sedan which offers enhanced driveability and functionality while achieving a design required for a flagship model with a quality feel." In other words, it's a brand-new Legacy.
The Legacy Concept was a decidedly attractive thing, combining coupe-like styling elements and a new design that sort of reminds us of a Buick Regal GS. Of course, Subaru has a storied history of creating excellent-looking concept cars, only to later unveil very watered-down production versions, so we fully expect its new midsize sedan to be quite a bit more boring than the show car we saw in LA. Let's hope we're wrong.
