2009 Subaru Impreza Wrx Premium Turbo Sedan 4-door 2.5l....stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 2040-cars
Hagerstown, Maryland, United States
Up for sale is my 2009 Subaru WRX Premium Sedan, this is a loaded sedan and a clean car.
Cars History I purchased this car from a friend of mine who owns a dealership in NJ, the car was owned by a woman who had someone pull out in front of her and she T bone them doing only minor damage to the front of the Wrx (view damaged picture). The women had a relative apparently working for an insurance company and the car ended up being "totaled" why it makes no sense what so ever, the estimate to fix the vehicle was only $10,000 and the cars book value is over $20,000. The WRX had NO airbag deployment but needed a ac condenser, radiator, a new head light, the hood repaired, front quarter panel repaired, air box replaced and a couple other odds and ends. You can't tell the cars been wrecked unless you really get down and crawl under it and look for paintwork and be very particular! I'm a very particular person and this car is cleaner than all the pre owned wrx's I looked at from local dealership lots! Mods on Car The car is stock except for a Injen Wrinkle Red tuned cold air intake ($300) and a set of mud flaps, the intake makes the turbo sound loud and you can hear it spool up and the factory blow off valve. I previously owned a 2005 STI and this car seems faster than it, I hated the 6 speed gears on the STI compared to the 5 speed in the WRX, the 6th speed has super short gears and you are always shifting and the STI was horrible on gas, this gets 23-26 pretty much all the time if you keep your foot out of it. General Info on Car It has a current WV inspection certificate until 1/15, the brakes and rotors still have a good bit of life, I put 2 new Kumho tires on it, the other 2 have 80% life left. Amsoil synthetic oil was just put in the car, coolant just flushed and AC recharged. The title is in hand, its a WV title and a R Title which you take to your MVA just like any other car. Whats wrong with the car? It "needs" nothing, it has a small (50 cent piece) size dent on the roof around the antenna that could be suction cupped out, and the one head light has some scratches on it, that could be wet sanded and perfected. The car runs and drives perfect, doesn't pull to any side, the transmission is super smooth, the motor runs smooth and pulls hard. No check engine lights, abs or any lights what so ever on. I took the car to a subaru dealer and had them go over it last month before the factory warranty ran out and everything checked out fine! Factory Options on car Premium Sedan Moonroof 5 speed manual with Anti Drift, (holds brake automatically when your on a hill so you don't drift backwards) heated cloth seats Auto Dimming Rear view mirror with compass 6 disc in dash cd changer with aux input keyless entry with alarm rear spoiler heated windshield wiper pad (heats the wipers so they don't freeze). power windows and locks Why am I selling it? I have 3 vehicles-I'm selling this WRX and also a Nissan Altima SER to purchase a TDI Jetta commuter car since I work down the road, I love this car nothings wrong with it and I don't have to sell it by any means. It is a super fun car to drive! I can deliver this up to 350 miles for a flat $250. (Will need a large deposit up front). |

Day 2: We made it to Patagonia | Subarus in South America
Wed, Feb 17 2016We made it. After Monday's layover in Buenos Aires on Tuesday afternoon, Chris McGraw and I landed in El Calafate, Argentina – right smack in the middle of Patagonia. The Andes mountains were to our west, open plains and lakes cut by glaciers to our east. McGraw and I settled inside a Subaru Outback, and with big smiles on our faces, high-fived as I said the words, "Dude... We're in f*cking Patagonia." Our official adventure starts today, where we're driving a number of Subaru crossovers on all sorts of terrain, visiting glaciers that are larger than most American cities, and taking in some of the most scenic landscape I've ever laid eyes on. Crosstreks, Foresters, and Outbacks will get us to our next destination, and we'll have a full recap of the day's activities for you tomorrow morning. Be sure to follow along with us on social media – Autoblog's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram will provide more insights into our journey. Of course, both Chris and I will be posting individual impressions from the journey, so follow us, too (@stevenewing and @thequikdraw). In the meantime, get an idea of our epic surroundings in the video above.
Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013
Sun, 15 Sep 2013When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
