Garage kept, clean inside and out ,waxed and washed monthly, super low miles 58,XXX, rare 4eat(auto) pearl white hatch back, premium with cold weather package. Was told there were only about 1000 of this setup made in 2008. It has a clean title and I will include a recent CarFax .

Car is very tastefully modified, it was tuned at 310 to the wheels (around 400hp to the crank) but with injectors/fuel pump it will put down a lot more! This is like a brand new car the motor and Trans are new and barely getting broken in! You will not find a car like this again; trust me I searched 3 years to find this car.

--New Parts/Maintenance--
-New 2010+ motor stronger and better than the one which came in the 2008
-New transmission (This auto transmission will handle more power and launch harder than the 5 speed wrxs)
-New rack and pinion (old one had a bad o ring so I just replaced the whole thing)
-17" rims (momo) and tires only 1000 miles on tires
-2011 shocks and struts (stiffer and slightly lower then 2008)
-also just had its 60k mile service
-Redline fluids (transmission, differential, power steering, brake)
-royal purple oil changes every 3k
-Always use Chevron or Shell 91 Gas

--Upgrades--

-Tantrix cable (will include stage 1, 2, 3 custom tunes) if the price is right I'll throw in a laptop with all the programs for data logging and tuning the car
-Custom "sport" grill
-Custom lip
-Rally armor mud flaps

Xcar rates AWD vs. FWD vs. RWD

Tue, Feb 24 2015

With snow and ice blanketing large swathes of the United States over the past few weeks, commuting hasn't been easy. Among some drivers, there's an ongoing debate about how much all-wheel drive really helps when it gets slippery and whether rear-drive is as bad in slick conditions as many people think. Xcar Films puts some of those beliefs to the test in its latest video by showing off three very different cars taking on a trio of low-grip challenges. Xcar's picks for the test include the fairly plebeian, all-wheel drive Subaru Impreza, the somewhat plush, rear-drive BMW 120d and the sporty, front-drive Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy. Things start out easy with a hydraulic plate forcing the back end out on a wet skid pad. From there, the tests get really interesting with a slalom on simulated ice, and the cars finish with a high-speed cornering challenge through a soaked turn. While an obvious winner emerges in the end, keep in mind this is hardly a scientific test of grip. For better accuracy, all three vehicles should be wearing identical tires, and the same driver should be behind the wheel of each one. Still, Xcar's examination is a fun chance to see how vehicles react when things get slick. Subaru mulls motorsports return, nixes small CUV plans

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

The Subaru WRX STI breaking the automotive lap record at the Isle of Man might be just the beginning of the headlines trumpeting a Subaru racecar. According to the latest rumors, the Japanese brand is looking at taking motorsports more seriously in the future. That could possibly even mean endurance racing at Le Mans.
According to Auto Express, the brand is mulling a greater participation in motorsport, but the big question is where. The World Rally Championship isn't a certainty because it now favors smaller cars like the Volkswagen Polo. Subaru still competes in series like Rally America and Global Rallycross, but there are bigger stages to play on.
What's interesting, is that this commitment to motorsports comes right as the automaker is denying plans to build a small CUV for its passenger car lineup. According to Auto Express, the company has no intention of developing a crossover smaller than the current XV Crosstrek. Even if the sales are there, it would just cost too much to develop. In the US, at least, the XV is doing great with sales up 42 percent in July.

Subaru WRX hatchback back off the table

Tue, Apr 22 2014

It's fair to see we're rather fond of the new Subaru WRX. That's not to say we don't have a number of issues with the budget sports sedan, though. Foremost among those complaints is that it's short exactly one door. Yes, the sedan-only WRX is just fine, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't missing the long-roofed, five-door model of years past. More pressing than our sentimentality, though, is the business case for a WRX wagon - half of the 2013 WRX and STI models sold had five doors. As a general rule, ignoring half of your former customers isn't the best strategy for long-term success. There was some hope, as recently as a few weeks ago, though, that Subaru would right this wrong and offer a real, five-door WRX. An Australian reporter managed to corner project manager Masuo Takatsu, who said strong interest from the US meant that the Subaru mothership was considering a WRX with a hatch rather than a trunk. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case, as Subaru USA is dashing any and all hope of a second body style. According to Motor Trend, the company's US arm reached out to Japan and, despite the statements made by Takatsu, confirmed that there were no plans for a WRX wagon. Sigh...
