As much as I hate to I'm forced to sell my WRX due to a financial situation.  This car is real fast and handles great.  I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars getting the car how it is now, it's basically perfect, runs excellent with no check engine lights on.  Interior is in excellent condition.  As far as looks go it's got custom graphics, upgraded rims, new tires all the way around, Sti rear spoiler and it's been lowered.

Timing belt was replaced at 105,000 miles.
Has stage 2 upgrades to really tap into the potential of this engine.
Invidia up and down pipes, 3" Invidia stainless steel exhaust all the way back.  k&n air filter,  Rfl Blow off valve, sounds evil but not obnoxiously loud, just deep and mean.
New O2 sensors.
After all the upgrades she was given a $700 tune by Ips motorsports of New Lexington Ohio to make everything work perfect and get good safe power.  Car does have a previously rebuilt title.  It was run in a ditch and had to have the rear passenger door replaced.  There was no suspension or frame damage.  The lower ground effect on the passenger side was damaged as well and as you can see in the pictures it's got some screws holding it on and would be better off replaced, just haven't gotten around to it yet.  There's also a dent behind the passenger door on the upper pillar.  It's the type that could be popped out from the inside but you would have to take the interior trim out and I never fooled with it because it's not that noticeable.

Here's the car's numbers if you were wondering:
Tune is safe for a daily driver and running on 93 octane modest boost.
350 hp at the crank, 327 torque.
0-60 4.6 seconds
1/4 in 13.4 at 101.5 mph
This car will indeed smoke a wrx sti in it's stock form, and they're twice as costly.

This is a badass car and just needs a good driver.
Call or text me anytime day or night.  Ask for MJ 276-219-2251

I can have this car shipped out within 1 day and headed anywhere in the United States for .49 cents a mile both ways.

BTW: Subaru's SHARC won the 2012 Design Challenge

Mon, 03 Dec 2012

Part of the festivities that encompass the LA Auto Show is the annual LA Design Challenge. This year's winner was the Subaru Highway Automated Response Concept, or SHARC. It envisioned automated, zero-emission highway patrolling.
The 2012 edition of the challenge was to envision the future of highway patrol in the year 2025. The goal was to conceptualize a vehicle that would account for the needs of "dynamic urban environments." In addition to Subaru's participation in the contest BMW, General Motors, Honda and Mercedes-Benz, all took part in the challenge.
The SHARC is essentially a law enforcement land-drone. It is entirely automated and runs on renewable energy. Subaru envisioned a future where the Hawaiian Islands are connected to each other by a large highway system. Such an expansive area would require considerable manpower to patrol. The concept of an autonomous patrol vehicle would eliminate the need for a good number of full-time personnel.

A closer look at the 2015 Subaru Legacy

Sun, 16 Feb 2014

The Subaru Legacy might not have been the hottest debut at the recent Chicago Auto Show, but for the Japanese automaker, it's hugely important. Much as we'd love to focus on Subaru's more engaging WRX, STI and BRZ models, the truth is, its the mainstream Forester, Outback and Legacy that make up the vast majority of the brand's sales, not to mention the Impreza and XV Crosstrek.
This new Legacy looks to gain a lot more traction in the mainstream market than its predecessor, with handsome, if familiar, styling, standard all-wheel drive, and more efficient powertrains. Under the hood, customers can choose between a 2.5-liter boxer-four, or a more powerful six-cylinder engine. Subaru says that the four-cylinder setup actually boasts class-leading fuel economy for all-wheel-drive vehicles in the Legacy's class.
West coast editor Michael Harley stopped by the Subaru stand for a closer look at the 2015 Legacy. Check it out in the video below.

Subaru XV runs over dog in Russian ad, but in a funny way

Sat, 26 Apr 2014

In case you're wondering, no, the woman didn't actually hit the dog. This is just a commercial, and a fairly clever one after you get over the perceived canicide, that's meant to show off the desirability of Subaru's lifted Impreza wagon, the XV Crosstrek.
We'll try not to spoil it for you, because it is a fairly humorous piece, but you have to make sure to watch it from start to finish. The found-footage angle of it, which sort of presents it with the same quality as a Russian dashcam video, just adds to the video's ridiculous premise.
We aren't sure if this is an actual ad from the Russian arm of Subaru, as it seems to be posted from an independent account with only one video to its credit. Still, have a look below, and let us know what you think.
