Hello, I have up for sale a 2005 Saab 92x Aero with VERY low original completely stock miles. It has just 40,881 on it at the moment. May go up a bit from driving till auction end. Also this car is rust free from the south. No winters EVER. I listed this car in the Subaru Impreza WRX wagon section because that is exactly what this car is. In 2005 and 2006 Saab partnered up with Subaru to make their own version. It had the same 2.0 Turbo, manual 5-speed and AWD system from the WRX. They changed the interior accents and the nose of the car to be Saab specific. Other than that what you have is a very low mile WRX Wagon. It has all the basics, power windows, locks, mirrors, and sunroof. It has the cold weather package which consist of heated seats, and heated glass, and mirrors. 6 Disc in dash CD player. 17 inch factory wheels. Here is the downside. The car has a prior salvage title. I bought it from a gentleman in Alabama who had purchased it wrecked 4 years prior. The nice part is this car is ready to drive like this. What you see, is what you get. No hidden damage. The damage was not fixed. That's how minor it was. No airbag deployment. It has been inspected in Iowa and is registered. All I did was pull the radiator support forward and put in a new radiator, and fan. Runs great. Just like a 40k car should. If you are a body man then this is a super easy finish, or anyone can drive it just the way it is. If you want it perfect you may want a bumper cover and hood, otherwise all other damage is very easily fixable, again or drive as is. It does not look bad. I tried to get close pix of the damage spots. The bumper, hood, fenders, and pass side doors would need work to be perfect. Again this is a very low mile, rust free example. Everything works as it should. Brakes, exhaust like new. Tires have good tread, but show cracks from the time it sat. If the car goes for a fair price I will have a brand new set of tires installed. This car books for $13,950 KBB Excellent Private party in my zip code 52001. Fair condition is $12,000.I am asking $10,300. With a option of best offer. So don't be afraid to offer. Please send any questions to my email address pfab99@yahoo.com or send me a text at 563-451-3908. I also have a 2002 WRX wagon with a 2004 Sti sedan front conversion for sale. Asking $7,900 for that car. This is my friends account, so it might take a little longer if I wait for her to ask me. I have my own account on ebay with 480 transactions, but ebay only lets you list 6 cars a year for the smaller fee, and I not knowing this had listed a car 6 times. The same car mind you. Anyways some of you may not like this approach, but I have been on ebay for 10+ years and they have gotten plenty of business from me. So I will get off my soapbox. Just wanted to be very honest about the car and listing. Thanks for looking, Jason.

2015 Subaru WRX to get CVT option?
Thu, 14 Nov 2013The 2015 Subaru WRX will make its debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show next week - that much we know for sure. We'll have all of the official specs very soon, but it seems Jalopnik has stumbled upon an official-looking document that spells out some of the 'Rex's finer details, including the availability of a continuously variable transmission.
Now, before you throw your laptops and phones out the window, know this: a proper manual transmission will still be available. Do remember, the WRX has always had an automatic option, and the move to a CVT for the 2015 model isn't terribly surprising. According to the document, the new WRX will use a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four - a change from the 2.5-liter engine in the current car. Subaru also employs a 2.0T boxer engine in the Forester, where it's mated to a CVT. What's more, the Impreza on which the new WRX is based also uses a CVT in favor of a conventional automatic.
Jalopnik points out that the more hardcore WRX STI will use a 2.5-liter turbo-four, and will only be available with a manual transmission. Additionally, there will reportedly be a "launch edition" of the STI, painted in the car's signature WR Blue (fingers crossed for gold wheels!).
2015 Subaru Outback
Tue, 01 Jul 2014"We like producing cars that are different." That's the company line trumpeted by several Subaru executives during the launch of the 2015 Outback - one of Fuji Heavy's most successful vehicles to date. Managing Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski accurately noted that while Subaru has never really found salvation with its mainstream sedans, it's the higher-riding, butcher offerings like the Outback and the Impreza-based XV Crosstrek that have been sales stars for the Japanese company. In 2013, for example, Subaru sold nearly three Outbacks for every Legacy it moved. And in 2014, the XV is on pace to outsell the Impreza upon which its based.
But Subarus have always been different, catering to unique customers that desire something a bit more special than your run-of-the-mill sedan or crossover. It's clearly worked, with Subaru having posted 30 months of year-over-year sales increases as of this writing. And even as the automaker's portfolio goes more mainstream, smoothing out its serially awkward styling and gunning for a larger market share here in the United States, that intrinsic Subaru differentiation is still baked in to each and every product.
It's that new Outback we're here to talk about today, a vehicle that's been comprehensively redesigned for the 2015 model year while not shaking up the formula that's made it successful since its inception in the mid-1990s, back when it (arguably) launched what we now know as the crossover utility vehicle segment. It's still plenty different - and plenty good, too.
2014 Subaru Forester gets big nod of approval from Consumer Reports
Wed, 22 May 2013While more and more buyers seem to be opting for the functionality of car-based crossover vehicles every day, it's rare that your read much in the way of passionate praise for one. And, while Consumer Reports doesn't exactly lavish written paeans on the Subaru Forester in its latest review - that's just not its style - it did give the CUV a remarkably high overall score.
Praising its excellent fuel economy, visibility, roomy interior and a whole lot more, the testing publication bestowed an overall score of 88 out of 100 on the Forester. That's a really excellent number for just about any vehicle, but it's also a top-of-the-class mark for the Forester's small CUV division. Just about the only major gripe was that of ride quality.
Most of the direct competitors to the Forester have earned CR marks in the mid-70s. The Honda CR-V is some 11 points behind, for instance, while the Toyota RAV4 and the Mazda CX-5 earn scores of 75 and 74, respectively.
