2004 Subau WRX-STI,

If you are  looking for a WRX-STI I feel certain you've done your homework and know all about this rocket. Suffice to say it's very impressive and this one is an excellent example

This car has 83,644 miles. It has  the factory gauge package, the trunk mounted Intercooler Spray, along with a Pioneer AM/FM-CD player.

The body is straight and clean, it's never been in an accident, there has been some cosmetic paint repair done to the front lower splitters but that's it. There is virtually no road rash on the front end or windshield.

The car has had a major service done at 82,869. The service included, timing belt, all 4 belt idlers, belt tensioner assembly, water pump, thermostat and drive  belts.
Along with  oil and filter change, spark plugs, air filter, cabin air filter and transaxle oil.

The car has been well maintained since new. The tires have approximately 50% of tread life remaining, the car is very clean both inside and out.

The car has heavy rubber Subaru floor mats, the passenger side front mat is missing. There is a small amount of curb rash on one of the BBS wheels (see picture)

If  you're looking for a WRX-STI in excellent condition this is the car for you,  this car is a blast to drive butlt has never abused or raced.

Subaru confirms 2015 WRX STI to grace Detroit show stand

Fri, 03 Jan 2014

Now that we've seen and driven the 2015 Subaru WRX, it's time to set our sights on the car's more powerful and traditionally massively winged counterpart: the STI. And while a few rumors about the new STI have already leaked, Subaru today confirmed that we'll be seeing the hotter 'Rex at the Detroit Auto Show later this month. Hot diggity.
Last we heard, the new STI will still use a turbocharged, 2.5-liter boxer-four (remember, the standard WRX uses a version of the 2.0-liter engine found in the Forester) producing something like 300 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. What's more, don't expect the STI to hatch a five-door variant - Subaru recently told us that there are no plans to offer anything beyond a sedan bodystyle for both versions of the WRX. Sad trombone, we know.
That said, if our time with the 2015 WRX sedan is anything to go by, this new STI should be pretty rad. The new WRX is significantly sharper than the outgoing model (in terms of driving dynamics, anyway - it's still a pretty ugly little thing), and we fully expect the STI to be a bulgier, harsher, more powerful and aggressive version of the already awesome street-legal rally car. We're just hoping it will be offered with WRC-correct gold wheels, too.

Racey Subaru BRZ spied on New York Auto Show floor [UPDATE]

Wed, Apr 1 2015

UPDATE: Subaru had the same BRZ out on the show stand this morning, so we added a full gallery. Turns out the car is called Subaru STI Performance Concept... full info available later this afternoon. Subaru is doing something very interesting with the BRZ at the New York Auto Show. Unfortunately, actual details about it are nonexistent at this point, but a user with the screenname The359 posted these two photos from the floor of the event on the FT86 Club forums, by way of an Instagram page. This BRZ appears to get a pretty thorough makeover with big, L-shaped LED running lights on the edges of the more aggressive front air dam, widened fenders and a rather nicely integrated hood bulge, which suggests the possibility of a more powerful engine underneath. The profile photo provides an even better look at the body kit, and it's practically impossible to miss the massive wing at the back that should keep the coupe sticking to the ground. In all, it bears a striking resemblance to the Subaru BRZ Concept STI that was shown at Los Angeles way back in 2011. It's not currently clear whether this is just a high performance concept to tease us, or the more powerful BRZ that many people are looking for. Regardless, the car definitely piques our interest. Toyota updates 86 in Japan with this weird special edition

Wed, Feb 11 2015

In their constant drive for perfection, Japanese automakers Toyota and Subaru have both announced some minor updates for their jointly produced sports car specifically for their domestic market. Both the Toyota 86 (known in these parts as the Scion FR-S) and the Subaru BRZ are getting a revised version of the electric power steering system they were designed with in the first place as well as a reworked suspension. The more intriguing news, though, is the strange restyling Toyota is offering on the 86 Style Cb edition. Ditching the aggressively angular front end of the existing model, this special edition gets rounded headlamps and an extended nose to give it a much less severe face. The Toyota 86 Style Cb is also being offered with an optional two-tone paint scheme and gets unique LED turning indicator strips, a special badge on the bulbous snout and revised interior trim. We'll chalk it up to a matter of personal taste, but as far as JDM specials go, this special edition isn't one over which we'll be terribly disappointed if it never makes it to US showrooms. We'll be sure to keep you posted if and when any of the mechanical updates make the trip across the Pacific, though. Related Video:
