Subaru Outback Wagon, 2.5i Premium with Package 11. This car is just over 10,000 miles, used very little.
This wagon has many factory extras including Option Package 11. This includes heavy rubber mats throughout, front, rear & cargo area including rear seat backs. This also includes heavy front seat covers with headrests all designed for the outdoor enthusiast, ie; hunting, surfing, skiing etc. These covers have not been used. There is also a full carpet floor mat set, front & rear, still wrapped new. Look on line with Subaru to see all the particulars.
The electronics are really nice with a wonderful sound system and Bluetooth set-up. It also has CD, 3.5 plug in for media, 2 USB's. The phone Bluetooth is quit amazing, sounds better than any car I have used, with auto sound dimming when a call is activated. The electronics also include a "Porsche-esque" 6 speed +/- paddle wheel shifter that is very slick, never having to take your hands off the wheel.
The interior and exterior are very aesthetic and well designed, very pleasing to the eye. The color is Crystal Black Mica Metallic with a rich sheen, especially in the sun. The interior is a graphite woven cloth with heated seats, very rugged and attractive. The mirrors and wipers are also heated. It gets 28 mpg/34 mpg highway which is awesome. Tires, like the rest of the car are new basically.

Subaru is America's third most off-roaded brand
Tue, 01 Jul 2014When you think of iconic off-road brands, where does Subaru fall on your radar? Somewhere in the middle? Perhaps near the bottom? Don't worry, you're not alone. Until recently spending some time in Bend, OR, where we drove the all-new 2015 Subaru Outback, we never really pegged the Japanese automaker to be a highly lauded brand among off-road enthusiasts, despite many of the company's products actually being quite capable when the going gets rough.
But the data says we're wrong. According to a 2013 J.D. Power study, Subaru vehicles have some of the highest use off road compared to other brands - of course "off road" here just means anything not on a paved road, so even gravel trails and tame two-tracks count in these statistics. Nearly 29.5 percent of its cars are used on trails and dirt roads, with only the Ram and Jeep brands besting that statistic, at 30.2 and 31.0 percent, respectively. Said another way, Subaru sold 424,683 vehicles in the US in 2013, meaning that some 125,281 saw off-road use. Mainstream brands like GMC, Ford and Chevrolet all trail Subaru, and even Land Rover comes in at less than 20 percent.
Some 34.7 percent of Outbacks are taken off paved roads, according to J.D. Power data.
2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition
Fri, 14 Dec 2012Two months ago, I was carving pumpkins in a canyon - last week, I was carving canyons in a pumpkin. I genuinely prefer the latter.
It's hard to miss the 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition. The twins (the automaker is offering the package on both the WRX and its higher-performing STI sibling - just 300 copies in total) arrive in Tangerine Orange paint with Jet Black wheels, black exterior mirrors and black front fender badges. The purely cosmetic upgrades are carried inside the cabin with black cloth upholstery contrasted with orange stitching on the seats, doors, shift boot and piping on the floor mats.
After a day, I completely forgot about the controversial orange paint (you either love or hate its burnt pumpkin color) and focused on the simple joy of driving the rally-inspired Subaru WRX.
