You are looking at 2004 Outback in excellent condition. I am the second owner of this car and have had it since 2008 (and 69k) with absolutely zero major or obscure problems. It has been meticulously maintained by Super Rupair in Boulder, CO for the entire time I have owned it, and I have detailed records to prove it. I have performed oil changes every 3k, and have completed all recommended services. I have detailed and waxed this car religiously and it's extremely clean inside and out. Here are some of the items/extras worth noting about the car:
ITEMS/EXTRAS: All Weather Package (Heated Mirrors, F/R Windshield, and Front Seats) Tinted Windows (30% (Legal Limit) Tint) Kenwood Head Unit with AUX (iPod) Input Alpine Speakers and Subaru Mini-Subwoofer (Under Passenger Seat) (Sounds Incredible!!!) U-Haul Tow Hitch (1 1/4") All-Weather Floor Mats and Cargo Liner Subaru Bugflector Subaru Crossbars Full-Size Spare on Extra OEM Rim with NEW Tire and Cover New Pirelli Cinturatto P7 tires (<4k on them) 120k Tune-Up/Service Performed as Scheduled New Pulleys and Tensioners at 120k New Timing Belt at 110k New Brake Pads (High Performance) and rotors at 115k (Extra set of R HP Pads Included!) K&N Air Filter Optional Yakima Hold-Up 2 Bike Rack (Extra $250) (Works Great!) Optional Yakima Skybox 12 (Extra $250) (<1yr Old!) Like I said, this car has been super reliable and has never given me any problems. The car has a clean title and has never been in an accident of any kind. There are some minor dents and scrapes from parking lots, etc. and I do believe the struts may need to be replaced in the nearer future, but still feel just fine. I haven't had any issues with the head gasket, but have been told that can be a problem with 00-04 Subaru's. Subaru WRX hatchback mule spotted
Tue, 02 Sep 2014Despite on-again, off-again rumors, this latest set of spy shots seems to indicate that yes, a five-door Subaru WRX is indeed in the works. Subtlety is key with this test mule, but there are clear bits of evidence that indicate a hotter hatchback is what's being developed here.
First, notice the WRX-spec front fascia grafted onto this ordinary-looking Impreza hatch. From there, we can clearly see the tiny bit of added width - most obvious on the roof and at the rear, near the fuel door and taillamps. And of course, let's not forget about that bulge in the hood, consisting of a metal panel that covers the hood scoop and can apparently be removed thanks to a series of screws, according to our spies. The WRX's more robust exhaust and larger wheel/tire package have not been added to this mule, though we're told that this is commonplace for Subaru prototypes - those bits should be added on as the car's development progresses.
We fully expect a WRX hatchback to be, well, just that - mechanically, it should be identical to the sedan brethren, though our spies indicate that Subaru could be testing an updated version of the WRX-spec boxer engine. Of course, there's always a chance that this could be something else entirely, given the on-and-off reports of the five-door 'Rex's existence in the first place...

Subaru confirms 2015 WRX STI to grace Detroit show stand
Fri, 03 Jan 2014Now that we've seen and driven the 2015 Subaru WRX, it's time to set our sights on the car's more powerful and traditionally massively winged counterpart: the STI. And while a few rumors about the new STI have already leaked, Subaru today confirmed that we'll be seeing the hotter 'Rex at the Detroit Auto Show later this month. Hot diggity.
Last we heard, the new STI will still use a turbocharged, 2.5-liter boxer-four (remember, the standard WRX uses a version of the 2.0-liter engine found in the Forester) producing something like 300 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. What's more, don't expect the STI to hatch a five-door variant - Subaru recently told us that there are no plans to offer anything beyond a sedan bodystyle for both versions of the WRX. Sad trombone, we know.
That said, if our time with the 2015 WRX sedan is anything to go by, this new STI should be pretty rad. The new WRX is significantly sharper than the outgoing model (in terms of driving dynamics, anyway - it's still a pretty ugly little thing), and we fully expect the STI to be a bulgier, harsher, more powerful and aggressive version of the already awesome street-legal rally car. We're just hoping it will be offered with WRC-correct gold wheels, too.
