2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Martinsburg, West Virginia, United States
This vehicle comes with a 6 Year/72,000 mile warranty from Subaru. I purchased it when it was initially bought in April 2011 and this would be the begin date for the warranty, so a little over 3 years left. The warranty is through Subaru and is transferable. The vehicle is in good condition with the normal wear and tear from a 51,000 mile vehicle. We have averaged 28/32 mpg with mixture of city/highway travel. We have had no problems with the vehicle. All scheduled maintenance has been performed up to this point, and I have most of the records. It has never been in a reportable traffic accident. The vehicle also includes all weather Subaru floor mats and never used Subaru carpet mats. The exterior: Overall it is in good condition. The right front bumper has a scrape caused by my wife parallel parking and scraping the rear end of another vehicle. The driver's side rear was caused by backing up and sliding against my truck. Both places have not been fixed. I photographed the damage. The tires will need replaced in im guessing the next 5,000 miles. I tried to photograph the tread depth. The right rear has more tread due to being replaced after a flat. The interior: The interior is in overall good condition. There is one scratch in the dash metal trim and small indentions in the soft leather caused by my dogs nails. The damage was photographed. This vehicle is being sold as is and the implied warranty is with Subaru. I am selling to the US only. Delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. Pick up is allowed. The vehicle will not be released until full payment has cleared. I am not a vehicle dealer so all taxes, vehicle registration, insurance, and all other requirements by your state is your responsibility. |

Prodrive builds new Isle of Man Subaru for record attempt
Mon, Apr 4 2016Prodrive have released photos of their new weapon for the Isle of Man TT Course. The three-time British Rally Champion Mark Higgins has set a number of records driving a Subaru on the famed Manx course throughout the years, and this time Subaru Technica International and Higgins are teaming up with Prodrive. Prodrive are famous for building Subaru's rally cars in the past, from 1990 to 2008, so the joining of forces gives the Isle of Man TT car an extra helping of motorsport magic. These days, Prodrive is also known for rally-prepared Minis and for building Aston Martin racing cars. They've had their share in giving UK-specification customer cars more power as well, along with creating a one-off, Subaru-based P2 sportscar to showcase their engineering skills and close ties with the Japanese manufacturer. This year's motorcycle event takes place on the treacherous 37-mile circuit in the end of May and early June. Past years' record drives have been especially memorable, and Higgins has been at it since 2011, first dipping under 20 minutes with a 19-minute, 56.7-second run five years ago – besting Tony Pond's 1990 laptime by over two minutes. The latest time for Higgins is 19 minutes and 15 seconds, so it will be interesting to see if the new car does it in less than 19 minutes. Subaru will cap sales, introduce US-only SUV and PHEV
Wed, Nov 4 2015With Subaru's meteoric growth over the past few years, it seems like the company would double down on the success and expand. However, the Japanese brand has announced that it will take the opposite approach. Rather than continually increasing global deliveries, the automaker will instead cap annual volume to between 1.03 million and 1.1 million units, according to Automotive News. While the strategy will keep Subaru's niche status, the brand's lineup certainly won't stagnate. After abundant rumors, a US-only, seven-seat crossover will eventually be assembled in Indiana, and Impreza production will reportedly move there in 2016. In addition, the company will launch a plug-in hybrid around 2018, but it'll only be sold where necessary to meet zero-emissions requirements. While the Japanese brand is widely known for crossovers and wagons, Subaru isn't forgetting its performance fans, either. Fuji Heavy Industries President Yasuyuki Yoshinaga confirmed yet again that a second-gen BRZ is under development. "We have already agreed with Toyota we will do a full model change. We have not decided when it will be introduced," he said to Automotive News. Subaru has been considering whether to grow for years, but the planning eventually favored maximizing the current factories. For example, Subaru decided not to build a plant in China but has chosen to boost capacity at the line in Lafayette, IN. Yoshinaga sees the strategy as a way to maintain the brand's soul. "Many companies try to be bigger or sell more vehicles. If Subaru does the same thing, we will lose our characteristics," he said to Automotive News. Related Video:
Subaru's BRZ STI Sport Concept is not quite what we've been waiting for
Thu, Dec 29 2016Subaru announced its lineup for the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon, and at the tippy top is yet another STI-badged BRZ concept car. But unlike the Performance Concept from the 2015 New York Auto Show, the new BRZ STI Sport Concept isn't so extreme. While it's hard to predict what this car means based on the limited information Subaru has released, we can get an idea of where the company is going by looking at its last STI Sport production model – the not-for-US Levorg. Essentially, the BRZ STI Sport Concept sounds like a lukewarm example of the lovable rear-driver, taking parts of the tS driving experience and marrying it with some interior and exterior enhancements. We can see those latter elements in the sole image the company released – the silver concept car gets a fresh body kit that's less aggressive than 2015's Performance Concept. The sole exterior image shows a subtle chin spoiler and a more prominent upgrade to the side sill. Smaller changes include STI badges in the lower grille and side grilles. In the cabin, Subaru apparently added dark red upholstery. All of this gels with the aesthetic the Levorg pioneered. On the performance front, we see what look like Brembo-branded red brake calipers, but that's about as certain as we can get with mechanical upgrades. What we can't see are likely modest performance tweaks, focusing on the suspension. The Levorg STI Sport, for example, got adjustable Bilstein dampers, firmer springs, and a tweaked power steering system. A similar STI Sport concept, based on the WRX S4, will share the Tokyo show stand with the BRZ. Subaru's racing entries in Super GT, Japan Rally, and the 24 Hours of Nurburgring will also go on display. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
