Hey Guys I have finally finished up my 2006 Subaru Legacy GT spec B and its time to sell her off. I purchased this car from another forum member not to long ago with a hurt motor. We were hoping for bad rings, but a piston was damaged so I had everything 100% rebuilt by Pheonixlegacy. Joe did a amazing job on this build.
Drivetrain:
Everything is brand new. All new pistons, rings, the block has been machined, cleaned, decked, align honed. All New gaskets through out. Everything has been replaced. Cosworth head gaskets. The heads have been 100% rebuilt, full valve job, heads have been machined, and we put brand new timing belt along with a new adjuster, valve cover gaskets, ect. (have all reciepts from pheonix performance)
The turbo is a TD05 18G turbo from PDX tuning. It has about 500 miles on it since brand new. The boost is currently set for 10psi to break in the new motor. It was and is still tuned for 16psi and will make around 350-360whp after the boost is turned up after a few hundred miles. The frontmount intercooler was already on the car when I purchased it. I do not know the brand. I have powdercoated all the intercooler piping to match the cars exterior color. Also the BOV was cracked so it has a brand new HKS SSQV BOV. Also has a STI intake manifold.
The transmission is built by AndrewTech. It has been fully rebuilt and the 1st and 2nd gears are PPG straight cut. (I have recipets for built trans) Also added a ACT street single disc clutch and lightweight flywheel. Also has a Kartboy Short Throw shifter and all Transmission buschings
The Exhaust has GTSPEC equal length header w/ up-pipe along with Gimmik motorsports Cat Back Exhaust . Sounds very nice. It does not drone at all inside and sounds great outside.
Misc mods:
Dual AEM pods on steering colum (they are not in the way like they seam in the pictures)
-AEM TruBoost
-AEM Wideband
Has HID Kit 6000k (they could use some time hiding the ballast but they work 100%)
Interior:
factory brick red interior is in mint condition. Zero scuffs, nicks, marks, tears or anything. The Navigation works 100%. Everything like a/c, heat, heate seats, cruise, ect works perfect. nothing has been hacked or cut up.
Wheels/Tires:
The car still retains the factory wheels with almost new tires. No wobbles or anything even at 90mph. She runs very well down I95.

2018 Subaru WRX and WRX STI pair updated looks with performance upgrades
Thu, Jan 5 2017For 2018, Subaru has given the WRX and WRX STI a mild refresh on the outside, and a few significant tweaks under the skin. Starting with the exterior, the lower grille openings on both models have been enlarged and given a bit of extra black trim for a more aggressive look. In fact, the change is a bit reminiscent of the dearly departed Mitsubishi Evo, with the black trim of the lower center grille extending to the bottom of the bumper. The WRX Limited and all STI models also get turning LED headlights, and the STI gets bigger 19-inch wheels. The interior also features subtle tweaks including a larger screen in the instrument panel for all models, as well as thicker door glass and foam in the windshield header to the make the car quieter. Both models also now come with roof rack mounting brackets, a new rear armrest with cupholders, and, according to Subaru, improved interior materials. And the WRX and STI are also now available with eight-way power adjustable Recaro seats. The Recaros are standard on the top trim STI, optional on the standard STI, and available in the new Performance Package for WRX models. This brings us to perhaps the biggest update, that aforementioned WRX Performance Package. In addition to the Recaro seats, it comes with upgraded brake pads covered in bright red calipers. The package also eliminates the moonroof, which hardcore enthusiasts know will save weight up high. The STI gets a notable brake upgrade. New Brembo brakes feature six-piston calipers at the front, and two-piston units at the back, and they're all painted a vivid yellow hue. Those calipers act on bigger, drilled rotors using equally enlarged brake pads. Subaru also retuned the car's Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD). Both the WRX and STI also have retuned suspension all around. If this all sounds great to you, you should be able to pick one up at your local Subaru dealer this spring. Related Video:
Subaru broke its own Isle of Man record with a 550-hp WRX STI
Tue, Jun 7 2016Well, they did it. Subaru of America, Prodrive, and driver Mark Higgins set out to break their own record on the Isle of Man's Snaefell Mountain Course, and the attempt was a success. Higgins covered the 37-mile course in the 2016 WRX STI Time Attack car in 17 minutes, 35 seconds. That's an average speed of 128.73 mph. Average. In a car. Higgins set the previous record, 19:26 at 116.47 mph, in a more-stock STI. He and Subaru of America have been bringing cars to the site of the motorcycle race for years now, setting automotive records as all along, but this one is going to be pretty tough to top. Subaru Prodrive Isle of Man View 4 Photos It comes pretty close to the overall lap record for the course, which was set over the weekend by Michael Dunlop. The rider set a 16-minute, 58.254-second lap in the RST Superbike TT, averaging about 133 mph. The fact the Subaru comes so close to the best bike time is pretty amazing. This year's Isle of Man TT weekend was marked by the deaths of two riders. Fatalities are a regular occurrence at the historic race around the island, but it continues to be held year after year with hundreds of participants. Listen, the Type R and the WRX STI don't look alike. Here's why.
Sun, Oct 2 2016So following the reveal of the new Honda Civic Type R, we've seen quite a few commenters issuing all kinds of accusations about the Type R looking like a WRX STI. And you know what? They're right. Both cars have four wheels, four-passenger doors, big wings, and scoops. In all seriousness, aside from a passing similarity because they're both flashy sport compacts, they really don't look alike. Let's start with the front and the profile. These areas are technically the most similar, since both cars feature high beltlines and have lower fascias defined by large inlets and a deep chin spoiler. And admittedly, the little kick-ups on the lower rear portion of the side windows are reminiscent of each other. But that's where the similarities end. Up front, the grille is by far the clearest indicator that the Honda is most certainly a Honda. The wide "blade" shape that spans the nose from light-to-light is unmistakably from the company that gave us VTEC. After all, just about every Honda today uses some form of that grille. The Subaru, on the other hand, has a traditional grille that is distinctly separated from the lights. It's not a bad thing, Subarus have had rather anonymous designs in the past, and we've still liked them. It's a Subaru thing. Moving to the scoops, we find more differences. For once, the Type R is more restrained, with a small, low-profile inlet far back on the hood. It will not be mistaken for the massive one on the STI, which looks like it could suck up low-flying fowl. View 58 Photos Along the side, the distinctions continue to pile up. The key here is in the fenders. While the STI has proud, pumped-up fenders compared with its distant Impreza cousin, they aren't nearly as pronounced as those on the Type R. The Honda's flares clearly show that they protrude from the standard hatchback's sheetmetal and closely follow the curve of the wheelarches. The STI's fenders proceed along the body's lines more closely and blend in more. Finally, we come to the rear, where no one should ever get these two vehicles confused. Yes, they both have enormous rear wings and diffusers, but that's it. For starters, one car is a hatchback, and the other is a traditional sedan. Not only that, but the Type R's hatch has a distinctive split rear window. I mean, based on the criteria people have used to compare the Type R with the STI, they should've actually been comparing the Honda to a Prius.
