Legacy 2.5GT Spec B., 5-Speed, AWD, **CLEAN CARFAX**, **LOCAL TRADE IN**, **ONE OWNER**, and Navigation System. Turbocharged! Here it is!  #408 out of only 500 numbered cars for the model year in 2006!  This is a one owner car although Carfax shows two owner.  The car was purchased on eBay in August of 2006 from Premier Subaru in Branford, CT.  It had 68 miles at the time.  We have the listing from eBay at that time.  Original Monroney sticker comes with the car.  Original MSRP was $35,425.  All service records included.  This car was traded in because the owner lives in rural Arkansas and is too far from a Subaru dealer for service.  We have got the vehicle completely up to date on service including the timing belt which is due at 105,000 miles but was replaced due to time.  250 Horsepower turbo Boxer 4 cylinder.  Come take a look at the deal we have on this wonderful 2006 Subaru Legacy. It scored the top rating in the IIHS frontal offset test.

Timing Belt service just completed, tires are in great condition, one owner car.  All orginal condition.  Front bumper had quite a few bug chips so we had the front bumper painted.  It matches very well.  The rest of the paint of the car is in excellent original condition.  Steering wheel has cover on it.  The MOMO steering wheel is slightly separated underneath.  Not bad but looks better with cover.  Message or call on of our sales consultants with more questions.

Subaru punches out 15 millionth Boxer engine

Wed, Feb 18 2015

It's a small milestone for our favorite manufacturer of gold-wheeled, all-wheel-drive sedans and crossovers, as Subaru announced that it has built its 15 millionth Boxer engine – a mere 49 years after it installed a tiny, horizontally opposed, four-cylinder mill in the 1966 1000 sedan. The milestone engine powers something a good bit larger than the 1000, which was (ironically considering Subaru today) the brand's first front-drive vehicle. Today's boxer, the so-called FB25 2.5-liter four, was built for the current Legacy and Outback. The 15 millionth Boxer hasn't been the brand's only accomplishment in 2015. The company built its 14 millionth Symmetrical all-wheel-drive system just last month. Subaru has only been at its trademark AWD system for 43 years, and with sales going the way they are, it seems only a matter of time before the Boxer engine is surpassed. Related Video:

Subaru provides first glimpse at upcoming Forester STI

Mon, 27 Oct 2014

Have you been patiently awaiting an STI version of the Subaru Forester? Your wait may be over soon, good friend, as teaser images of just such a vehicle have surfaced online.
Set to debut on November 25, the 2015 Subaru Forester STI will reportedly feature more aggressive aero and cooling, upgraded rolling stock and brakes, and Subaru Tecnica International's signature bright-blue paint and red accents.
What we don't know is what will provide the motivation. There's a pretty big gap at present between the 250 horsepower offered in the top-of-the-line Forester 2.0XT and the 305-hp WRX STI, and we don't know where along the spectrum the Forester STI might fall. Nor do we know, for that matter, if it'll be offered Stateside. But we're looking forward to finding out.

2015 Subaru Outback offers more room and better econ behind that new face

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

While its new front fascia makes the biggest obvious impact, Subaru says changes to the entire 2015 Outback package make it roomier, more powerful, more efficient and quieter. The hexagonal grille gets it in line with the corporate template, to go along with a new shape to the lower grille and fog light cladding, a sharp crease for a shoulder line and a faster rake to the windshield. The rocker panel cladding and its 'toothed' molding remain, but it now also doubles as a step for when you want to place items on the roof rack.
Under the aluminum hood will either be a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder boxer engine with 175 horsepower and a carryover 174 pound-feet of torque, or a 3.6-liter inline-six-cylinder with 256 hp and 247 lb-ft exclusively in the 3.6R Limited model. Paired to the lower-friction Lineartronic CVT that is the only shifting choice, and aided by features like the active grille shutter system and electric power steering, Subaru estimates fuel economy for the four-cylinder at 25 miles per gallon city, 33 highway and 28 combined, an increase of 1/3/2 mpg over the outgoing car. The sixer is pegged at 19 city, 27 highway and 22 combined, an increase of 2 mpg across the board.
The Outback has grown in every dimension, but never by more than 0.7 of an inch. The passenger cabin grows by 2.7 cubic feet, though, so occupants have more shoulder, hip, elbow and legroom. The cargo hold is enlarged by 1.2 cu-ft with the rear seats up, by 2.0 cu-ft with them down and the load floor is flatter. Accessing it is made easier by the memory height function on the power tailgate and new release handles for the rear thrones. Cabin ambiance is improved by sound abatement measures like an acoustic windshield, thicker panels and more noise-insulating foam.
