2012 Subaru Impreza Limited 4-Door Sedan in excellent condition. This Limited optioned sedan offers a beautiful Satin White Pearl exterior with tan leather. Subaru is one of the most highly rated vehicles for it's safety and AWD system for snow. This Impreza is ready to handle the upcoming winter. I have changed the oil regularly, it's required no maintenance aside from changing all tires at 37,000 miles. I've kept the interior in immaculate shape. This is accident free and I am the original owner. All you need to do is hop in and drive! I will try my best to list all of the available options. Overall: The 2012 model offered a new style for the Impreza series. In addition to the visual changes, Subaru upgraded to a new version 2.0 liter four cylinder H-4 automatic CVT (continuously variable transmission) engine to provide better gas mileage. The CVT engine offers increased fuel economy rated at 27 MPG city and 36 MPG highway. This is a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) which means it provides little pollution to the environment. Subaru also upgraded the overall interior refinements, increased the backseat room and included great additional standard features and options. The Limited model does not require premium gas which will save you more at the pump. The CVT features two different drive modes: "D" is for automatic drive mode and "M" is for manual drive mode. Paddle Shifters adjusts the gears in manual mode for full transmission control. Other options include variable intermittent wipers, front fog lights, fully automatic headlights and remote keyless entry. Safety: Dual front impact airbags, dual front side impact airbags and knee airbag Traction control and ABS brakes Security system with panic alarm Large outside mirrors offer excellent rear visibility Exterior & Condition: Only the Limited edition included door handles with the chrome strip accents Satin White Peal Exterior Paint Premium 17" spoke alloy wheels Upgraded rear bumper applique offers clear, scratch-resistant vinyl film helps to protect bumper upper surface and the leading edge. Condition: There are a few marks which I will indicate in the pictures. One was a rock chip on the hood and the other is on the driver door from a co-worker opening her door in to mine. Comfort & Convenience Features: The Limited edition is the only Impreza that included leather upholstery, premium leather wrapped telescoping steering wheel with audio, bluetooth and cruise control plus leather wrapped shift knob. Heated front seats Power sunroof Automatic temperature control Air conditioning blows cold Power locks, windows & exterior door mirrors Height Adjustable driver seat and front headrests have tilt and height adjustment Front and rear beverage holders New for 2012 and a first for the Impreza, one piece key with integrated remote. Split folding rear seat plus only the limited model includes the rear seat center armrest.

Xcar rates AWD vs. FWD vs. RWD
Tue, Feb 24 2015With snow and ice blanketing large swathes of the United States over the past few weeks, commuting hasn't been easy. Among some drivers, there's an ongoing debate about how much all-wheel drive really helps when it gets slippery and whether rear-drive is as bad in slick conditions as many people think. Xcar Films puts some of those beliefs to the test in its latest video by showing off three very different cars taking on a trio of low-grip challenges. Xcar's picks for the test include the fairly plebeian, all-wheel drive Subaru Impreza, the somewhat plush, rear-drive BMW 120d and the sporty, front-drive Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy. Things start out easy with a hydraulic plate forcing the back end out on a wet skid pad. From there, the tests get really interesting with a slalom on simulated ice, and the cars finish with a high-speed cornering challenge through a soaked turn. While an obvious winner emerges in the end, keep in mind this is hardly a scientific test of grip. For better accuracy, all three vehicles should be wearing identical tires, and the same driver should be behind the wheel of each one. Still, Xcar's examination is a fun chance to see how vehicles react when things get slick. Poor sales prompt Subaru to kill the Crosstrek Hybrid
Mon, Oct 3 2016The Subaru XV Crosstrek is a major hit. It's high off the ground, offers enough seating for five, and has Subaru's iconic all-wheel-drive system, which is exactly what modern consumers want. As we pointed out last year, Subaru posted impressive sales figures thanks to its crossover lineup, which includes the Forester, Outback, and XV Crosstrek. It turns out, though, that Subaru owners aren't interested in the hybrid variant of the crossover, as Subaru plans to axe the XV Crosstrek Hybrid, reports Cars Direct. The discontinuation of the XV Crosstrek Hybrid is due to the crossover's poor sales figures, claims Cars Direct. Subaru introduced its first-ever production hybrid, the XV Crosstrek Hybrid, in 2013 and after just three years the vehicle is being killed. As we pointed out in our review of the vehicle, the hybrid's larger price tag and marginally better fuel economy made it a tough choice over the non-hybrid models. The XV Crosstrek Hybrid starts – sorry, started – at $27,245, while the base 2.0i model has - had - a price tag of $22,445. That's $4,800 more for a vehicle that gets seven mpg better in the city and only three mpg more on the highway at 30 mpg city and 34 mpg highway. We reached out to Subaru for a comment, but haven't heard back yet. We'll update the story when we hear back from the automaker.
