Up for sale in a 2009 Subaru WRX. This is a one owner vehicle. Car was purchased with Subaru's extended "Gold Plus" warranty. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. It also had the recommended 30,000 mile tune up in which some belts and hoses were replaced. Major maintenance includes having the clutch replaced at 52,500 miles and the steering rack replaced around 60,000 miles. I just installed a new NAPA Gold air filter and premium wiper blades so the new owner will not have any worries using this car right away.

The exterior of the car I would rate at an 8/10. The front bumper has a small crack on the driver's side about 1" long. There is also a small dent (dime sized) above the drivers door handle. There are some small rock chips in the hood, but I am currently seeing if I can get these fixed because I bought the Xzilon paint protection when it was new. The Xzilon protection is a spray that was applied at the dealer to protect the paint and exterior from dents, dings and scratches. It was also applied to the interior to prevent tears, rips, holes, burns, and discoloration. It works as a "warranty" against these things, and the warranty agreement states the company will pay for repairs if these things do happen. It can be transferred to a new owner. It has about a year left. I also bought a windshield protection warranty that replaces the windshield for free if there is any damage, even small rock chips. This is also transferable with about one year remaining.

The interior I would rate at a 9/10. Everything is in good used condition. There is a very small hole in the back seat that is almost unnoticeable.

The car in located in Denver, CO. If you would like to see the car before the auction is over please feel free to email me and set up a time. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks

All work has been done professionally and by a Subaru dealer.

The accident that shows up on the report was a very minor incident, in which the car was bumped into in a parking lot. Another vehicle hit the edge of the rear bumper. The only damage was some denting on the corner of the bumper cover. The bumper cover was replaced professionally by the Macco body shop in Denver.

2018 Buick Regal TourX vs. wagon competitors: How it compares on paper

Wed, Jan 31 2018

To the great joy of auto enthusiasts nationwide, wagons are back! Well, at least there's a few more of them. The latest is the 2018 Buick Regal TourX, which we just had our first drive of and found to actually be quite good with pleasant handling, solid power and plenty of space. But, how does the TourX compare to other cladded wagons? Well, let's dive into the specs and fire up the ol' spreadsheet maker for Buick Regal TourX vs Subaru Outback vs Audi A4 Allroad vs VW Alltrack vs Volvo V60 Cross Country. True, some are from mainstream brands and others are from luxury marques, but Buick straddles both realms, so it's appropriate to look at them all. Of course, there's more to these cars than just the numbers, but they're still important, and in the case of this class of crossover-aping wagons, can vary more than you'd expect. So check out the specs in the chart below, which are followed by more analysis and photos of each. Discover and compare other wagons and crossovers with our Car Finder and Compare tools. Engines and Transmissions When comparing powertrains, the Buick is far-and-away the winner as far as torque is concerned, and is in a nearly three-way tie for horsepower. Its 295 pound-feet of torque is 22 lb-ft more twist than the next-most-grunty Audi A4 Allroad. And in regards to power, the Buick's 250-horsepower engine is only down 6 hp to the most-powerful Subaru and its optional naturally aspirated flat-six, and just 2 hp less than the Audi. At the bottom of the pack is the Subaru Outback with the standard naturally aspirated flat-four, which only makes 174 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. That may not seem too bad compared with the VW Golf Alltrack, which only makes 170 hp and 199 lb-ft of torque, but the VW is much lighter by between 200 and 300 pounds. Transmission-wise, there's quite a bit of variation in the group. The Regal TourX and the Volvo V60 Cross Country rely on eight-speed automatics, all Outbacks use CVTs, and the Alltrack and Allroad have dual-clutch automated manual transmissions with six and seven gears, respectively. But for people that want to shift for themselves, the only option is the Volkswagen, which offers a traditional six-speed manual transmission on the Golf Alltrack. Cargo and Interior Space One of the main reasons to buy a wagon is for the body style's large cargo capacity. And for the most space for things and stuff, you'll want to check out the Subaru and the Buick.

Subaru XV runs over dog in Russian ad, but in a funny way

Sat, 26 Apr 2014

In case you're wondering, no, the woman didn't actually hit the dog. This is just a commercial, and a fairly clever one after you get over the perceived canicide, that's meant to show off the desirability of Subaru's lifted Impreza wagon, the XV Crosstrek.
We'll try not to spoil it for you, because it is a fairly humorous piece, but you have to make sure to watch it from start to finish. The found-footage angle of it, which sort of presents it with the same quality as a Russian dashcam video, just adds to the video's ridiculous premise.
We aren't sure if this is an actual ad from the Russian arm of Subaru, as it seems to be posted from an independent account with only one video to its credit. Still, have a look below, and let us know what you think.

Next-gen Subaru WRX STI spotted at the N"urburgring

Tue, 16 Apr 2013

Subaru has been busy testing the next-generation WRX STI. Well, it may be the STI. The big wing out back lends some credence to that theory, but it could be that the basic WRX is getting new action in the back section. Time will tell.
In either case, spy photographers nabbed a few shots of the heavily camouflaged sedan running around the Nürburgring. Unfortunately, it looks as if Subaru has taken some of the sexy out of the WRX Concept we saw at the New York Auto Show, leaving this car looking more derivative of the current model than a revolution in design. The bold power bulge has disappeared from the vehicle's hood and the lower fascia looks far more demure than the the wild concept. Likewise, the muscular rear fenders have been toned down substantially.
The result is a car that looks more like a mildly warmed over version of the current model than a production version of the WRX Concept. Still, engineers and designers may have a long way to go before the finished product hits the market, so we'll reserve final judgement for now. After all, the early BRZ mules were nothing short of a travesty to look at, and we know how that turned out. Hope springs eternal.
