BID TO WIN this True STI TODAY...Why not buy Wholesale? Low starting bid!

True WRX STI - 6 speed turbo AWD... Don't wait to bid and lose it. BID TO WIN this STI TODAY... Contact recent buyers from me and ask them if they are happy. You will deal with one person; I've been in the wholesale business for myself for 15 years and the buck starts and stops with me. I only buy and sell the clean cars. I bought this wrx from an insurance company that I deal with as a water damaged car. Mechanically very sound, aftermarket inner cooler, Cobb Stainless 3" exhaust. Perrin hoses. Suspension and Brembo brakes. Factory radio does not have sound. I have only one key with a remote fob. Driver tail light has a few cracks in it but it works. A couple scuffs, scratches but no accident or previous paintwork. Super fun car to drive. I do not beat on it and the turbo pulls well. No damage from the water intrusion. I pulled the carpets to be sure there were no issues and have been driving the car for 6 months. I am a private wholesaler that primarily deals in only BMW's but I just could not pass this STI up. Don't miss the opportunity to own a beautiful rare car. PA Reconstructed title with water damage/ flood stamp. - ...save thousands - you will not be disappointed. Subaru looks back on record-setting WRX STI from 2011 Isle of Man

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

In what we can only presume/hope is a precursor to the launch of the next-gen WRX STI, Subaru has released three videos now giving us a look back at the history of the STI-badged WRX models. In this third video, Dominick Infante, national manager of product communications at Subaru of America, got ahold of the automaker's 2011 WRX STI that broke records for the Isle of Man TT Challenge a couple of years ago.
In 2011, rally driver Mark Higgins piloted this car to a lap speed record of 115 miles per hour and a lap time record of 19:56.7 around the 37.8-mile course. The race-prepped STI, which Infante refers to as an "STI on steroids," features a beefed-up suspension, a wonderful-sounding open exhaust and the removal of the speed limiter to go with full roll cage and racing seats and harnesses.
Scroll down to see - and hear - new driving footage of this 2011 WRX STI with Infante behind the wheel as well as some race footage from 2011 - including a near-disaster Higgins averted at 150 mph. Also, be sure to check out the previous videos from Subaru for the 1998 Impreza 22B STI and a 2004 WRX STI.

2015 Subaru WRX priced from $26,295*, STI from $34,495*

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

As you read these words, we're putting together our full First Drive report on the 2015 Subaru WRX STI. And back in December, we were given our first shot behind the wheel of the wingless 2015 Subaru WRX. Both cars will launch at the same time, hitting dealers this spring, and Subaru has now confirmed that pricing will start at $26,295 for the standard WRX, and $34,495 for the hotter STI, with both models subject to a *$795 for destination fee.
On the WRX, that price gets you a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine good for 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. There are three trim levels available - base, Premium and Limited - the latter of which will retail for $28,495 and $29,995, respectively. Premium and Limited models are also available with a new continuously variable transmission (it isn't bad - seriously), and the two-pedal setup adds $1,200 to the sedan's bottom line. Premium models add things like heated seats and mirrors, a sunroof, foglamps and a rear spoiler. The high-zoot Limited trim adds leather seating, a power driver's seat and automatic LED headlamps.
And then there's the STI, which, at $34,495, carries the same base price as the previous model. Like the standard WRX, the STI is a sedan-only affair, but boasts extensive chassis and powertrain upgrades (stay tuned for our full drive report next week). Under the hood is a turbocharged, 2.5-liter boxer-four, producing 305 hp and 290 lb-ft of twist, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission.

CCTV footage shows Red Bull trophy heist going down

Fri, Jan 23 2015

Any Formula One team knows the deal: you train, you prepare, you make the best car possible and put it in the hands of the best people you can get. But then out of nowhere another driver crashes into one of yours and your race is over. That's just the way it goes sometimes, but even that didn't prepare Red Bull Racing for the crash that happened at its headquarters last month. That's when some bandits drove a silver Subaru Legacy wagon backwards through the front door of the team's headquarters in Milton Keynes, UK, and made off with a bunch of the trophies displayed in the lobby. Now video footage from a closed-circuit television camera has surfaced, showing the crime go down in a brief twelve-second clip. It was a senseless crime since most of the trophies don't have much intrinsic value, and it's not exactly like they could sell them to someone else. All it accomplished was to damage the team's facility and demoralize the men and women who worked so hard to win those trophies – many of which ended up dumped in a nearby lake.
