2004 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Wagon 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
McMinnville, Tennessee, United States
Hi. For sale is my 2004 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Wagon. It is AWD. As you can see from the pictures it looks great. This car does have a "rebuilt" title. It was hit lightly in the rear but there was absolutely no frame damage. It was just bumper and tail lights that were affected (see photo). A dent over the right rear wheel has been repaired beautifully (see photos). The rear bumper and tail lights have all been replaced. The air bags were NOT deployed. Everything lines up nicely, works as it should and looks great. As I stated there was no frame damage and it rolls down the road straight as an arrow with no vibrations or odd noises. The only dent left on the car is on the passenger side, lower part of the rear door (see photo). The motor is great. Runs very smooth. No drips or odors. It only has 86,790 miles on it. These cars typically last for a couple hundred thousand or more. It has a brand new battery and plug wires. Fresh oil and filter. New cabin filters. The transmission shifts smoothly and on time as it should. No indicator lights are on. Everything works as it should. The A/C blow ice cold. This car will go anywhere. It comes with 1 key, 2 uncut keys (any dealer can cut them for you) and 2 key fobs. Also included is a DIY pre-cut window tint kit. Don't be scared off by the "rebuilt" title. You will not be disappointed with this car. It's a great little car. I have the title in hand. The KBB on this car even with the "rebuilt" title places the value at more than $7300. I am asking less than that. This car does not come with a warranty. It is being sold as-is. This car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early if the car sells locally. There is a $500 deposit required through paypal within 24 hours of auction end and the balance in cash within 7 days of the end of the auction. If you have any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer. Thank you for looking and bidding.

Subaru WRX STI S207 limited to 400 units in Japan only
Wed, Oct 28 2015Japanese Subaru fans are getting quite a treat in time for Halloween. The brand is unveiling the WRX STI S207 edition at the Tokyo Motor Show. Unfortunately for brand devotees elsewhere, the market-exclusive, high-performance model is limited to just 400 units there. For such a small run of cars, the folks at Subaru Tecnica International are adding quite a bit to take the STI's performance to new heights. Among the upgrades, the 2.0-liter, turbocharged boxer now makes 323 horsepower and 318 pound-feet of torque – a healthy jump compared to 305 hp and 290 lb-ft from the 2.5-liter engine in the US-market version. Beyond the extra power, the sedan also wears a load of parts to improve chassis stiffness and a DampMatic II adjustable front suspension from Bilstein. Styling sees some slight tweaks with a red-outlined mesh grille, chin spoiler, 19-inch BBS wheels, and a redesigned rear bumper. Inside, the front passengers are held tight in leather-trimmed Recaro seats. If the 400 units aren't exclusive enough, Subaru technically breaks the S207 into three special editions. A planned run of 200 units will feature the NBR Challenge Package that's inspired by the company's class victory in the 2015 Nurburgring 24 Hours. It adds a carbon fiber rear spoiler, black wheels, red seatbelts, and an Ultrasuede-covered steering wheel. A hundred of those are the NBR Challenge Package Yellow Edition that come exclusively in Sunrise Yellow with black-painted door mirrors and side sills. Depending on the version, prices before Japan's consumption tax would be between $46,050 and $48,950 at current exchange rates. Just 400 units of the model, dubbed the "S207", will be available. Taking the WRX STI as its base, this complete car from STI features exclusive engine and suspension tuning as well as distinctive interior and exterior design. Embracing the STI concept of offering the ultimate in road driving, the S207 stands at the pinnacle of the STI complete car lineup and aims to be the world's most enjoyable vehicle, providing a feel-good experience to all those who travel in it regardless of road conditions and enhancing driver skill. Special engine tuning boosts maximum power output to 328 PS.
Xcar rates AWD vs. FWD vs. RWD
Tue, Feb 24 2015With snow and ice blanketing large swathes of the United States over the past few weeks, commuting hasn't been easy. Among some drivers, there's an ongoing debate about how much all-wheel drive really helps when it gets slippery and whether rear-drive is as bad in slick conditions as many people think. Xcar Films puts some of those beliefs to the test in its latest video by showing off three very different cars taking on a trio of low-grip challenges. Xcar's picks for the test include the fairly plebeian, all-wheel drive Subaru Impreza, the somewhat plush, rear-drive BMW 120d and the sporty, front-drive Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy. Things start out easy with a hydraulic plate forcing the back end out on a wet skid pad. From there, the tests get really interesting with a slalom on simulated ice, and the cars finish with a high-speed cornering challenge through a soaked turn. While an obvious winner emerges in the end, keep in mind this is hardly a scientific test of grip. For better accuracy, all three vehicles should be wearing identical tires, and the same driver should be behind the wheel of each one. Still, Xcar's examination is a fun chance to see how vehicles react when things get slick. 2014 Subaru WRX and STI pricing announced
Wed, 07 Aug 2013As the sun prepares to set on the third-generation Subaru WRX, Subaru has released the pricing for the 2014 WRX and WRX STI. With redesigned versions of both cars due out next year, prices for the current car have risen by just $200 across the entire 2014 lineup resulting in new starting MSRPs of $25,995 for the WRX and $34,495 for the more powerful WRX STI (*not including destination).
The destination charge has also crept up for the 2014 WRX and WRX STI models climbing slightly from $770 to $795. A final pricing adjustment for this bodystyle's send-off year is that the optional navigation system went from $1,000 in 2013 up to $1,100 for 2014. Scroll down for the full model pricing breakdown, and keep a lookout for the all-new 2015 WRX and WRX STI, which we'd expect to see in production form in the coming months.
