If you have any questions or would like to view the car in person please email me at: miriammmmantooth@oxfordfans.com .
Selling a dark gray metallic (DGM) 2014 Subaru Forester XT Touring. 27940 miles. This one is the "touring" trim,
equipped with navigation, power rear liftgate, power driver seat, heated leather seats, CVT, all wheel drive, 18"
wheels, hill assist, panoramic moonroof, compass mirror and a lot more. Has tinted windows, rain guards, floor
mats and Husky rear hatch tray (the rubber one that can hold spills). This is the XT model, which includes the 2
liter turbocharged direct injection engine. Also has all the standard features, including air conditioning, power
steering, ABS, front/side/seat/knee airbags, power mirrors/locks and such.
This Forester carries a rebuilt title, which was issued back in 10/2015. I have the carfax report if you're
interested. They issued a not actual mileage title at the time (this is usually when insurance company cannot
power up a car to verify mileage). I can vouch mileage is correct, as last known mileage was on 10/28/2015, as per
Carfax, at 26243. I am OK with potential buyers bringing/sending a 3rd party inspector on the vehicle before
purchase, as this Forester is 100%.
There are a few scratches on the rear bumper, and rear tow hook cover popped off. That's about it as far as
problems.
This Forester is dealer maintained. All manuals are included. All recalls/TSB's are up to date.

2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek gets more infotainment, safety tech
Fri, 24 Oct 2014A couple of months ago, Subaru rolled out a series of minor enhancements for the Impreza, and now it's performed a similar upgrade to its more rugged counterpart, the XV Crosstrek. For 2015, the XV benefits from available EyeSight driver assistance suite, steering-responsive fog lights and a new 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with a seven-inch version on higher-spec models).
Otherwise the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek and XV Crosstrek Hybrid are essentially the same as the 2014 models they replace. The requisite 2.0-liter boxer four drives to all four wheels as always, with or without hybrid assist, through either a five-speed manual or continuously variable transmission. Look for the updated model to reach dealers this December, and in the meantime, feel free to peruse the press release below.
Scion testing updated FR-S
Thu, Sep 17 2015It looks like Toyota is preparing a mid-cycle update for its critically acclaimed GT86, known here in the US as the Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ. As far as updates go, this one looks to be rather average. Hidden behind the camouflaged front and rear ends, we have new headlights and taillights, which according to our spies looked to be of the LED variety. We wouldn't be shocked to see the GT86 get LED taillights, although fitting the top-of-the-line headlights seems less likely. Supporting that position are the images we have of the actual headlights in action, which don't look quite bright enough to be full LED units. Instead, we'd expect some new form of running light, perhaps with bi-xenon low beams. Aside from the lamps, the front bumper gets a larger, more prominent lower intake, while the rear end sports a redefined bumper that houses larger dual exhaust tips. The size of the spoiler has been increased, too. According to our spies, we should also expect powertrain enhancements – which we can only hope means more power – as well as upgrades to the interior of the GT86. While it's possible that the updates being tested in Germany could be exclusive to the European market, that seems unlikely. We'd expect the same new enhancements to at least find their way to the Scion, if not its Subaru-badged twin. Check out the full battery of spy photos up top. Related Video:
Subaru provides first glimpse at upcoming Forester STI
Mon, 27 Oct 2014Have you been patiently awaiting an STI version of the Subaru Forester? Your wait may be over soon, good friend, as teaser images of just such a vehicle have surfaced online.
Set to debut on November 25, the 2015 Subaru Forester STI will reportedly feature more aggressive aero and cooling, upgraded rolling stock and brakes, and Subaru Tecnica International's signature bright-blue paint and red accents.
What we don't know is what will provide the motivation. There's a pretty big gap at present between the 250 horsepower offered in the top-of-the-line Forester 2.0XT and the 305-hp WRX STI, and we don't know where along the spectrum the Forester STI might fall. Nor do we know, for that matter, if it'll be offered Stateside. But we're looking forward to finding out.
