i am not including the shift knob, radio, or PLX scan gauge reading system with this car unless you pay extra.. so as that sits you get a 01 forester just scratching 140k a single cam 2.5 with a MAP sensor.. UEL headers, 2.5 straight pipe no cats. just two louvered glass packs. a D2 Air coil system FIA approved. 5 gal tank. two water traps. two 380C compressors. a Airlift autopilot V2. 8 point weld in roll cage. two knockoff black Bride Vios low max seats with real BRIDE rails. Nardi steering wheel with some ghetto ass quick release. brand new headlights with infinity FX35 projectors with optically clear lenses. running 50W 4300K HID's. 17x8 5x120 BBS RC090's with 205 40's. a center diff thats been welded by Sarli Motorsports. rear diff is out of a older legacy outback for short gear ratios. good for drift fun. the spare tire compartment has been cut out and replaced with flat aluminum diamond plate that is bolted in place.. it allows for way easier diff swaps for when you blow them all to hell. and it has some wrx short throw shift kit and COBB shifter bushings as well as all brand new OEM shift linkage stuff things.. my options are.. $4000 without my wheels and you get stock wheels. $4600 with my wheels and adapters. $4800 with my roll cage $5000 with my PLX scanner included. (really nifty little device i wouldnt live a day without) $5100 you get everything listed and a spare transmission out of a WRX.
BUY IT NOW PRICE WILL NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING. THEY ARE ALL OPTIONAL EXTRAS YOU MUST PAY FOR.
so if you use buy it now. for $4,000 USD you will be obligated to pay for the car. anything you want with the car such as wheels, scanners ,rollcage, or the spare transmission you must pay extra for to get. no negotiations. no showing up expecting to get all those parts for only 4k.. message me after you buy it otherwise youll show up to pick up a forester that doesnt look as appealing as it does in these pictures..
now for the rating stuff..
Interior.. 4/10 it has race seats and has been stripped mostly for a cage. i have everything for the interior and you will get it included regardless of buy it now price.
exterior... 6-7/10 clear is flaking off. scratches. but still has a real attitude to it.
engine.. 9/10 strong running zero problems.. however if you go above 100mph the check engine light comes on. easily cleared by the PLX scanner (see you might want it now, dont you)
Airconditioning.. 10/10 im a big dude.. A/C is a must cayse i dont like heat.. the air blows incredibly cold.. NO BS..
transmission 8/10 syncros dont like second gear you must hold it in second while you let the clutch out or it will just pop out and youll look like a tard that missed a gear.
differential 10/10 fresh just put it in. and i love the new gear ratios as its much snappier to break loose.
this is a fun car... it gets alot of attention everywhere it goes. im selling it cheap to sell quick and start the next project. as most of you know the D2 Air coilovers and AutoPilot V2 are worth my asking price alone. its like your getting a car free with the purchase of awesomeness..
if you have any questions please message me.

Why I chose a Subaru WRX over a BRZ
Mon, Feb 8 2016It was early 2012, and I was ready to get a new car. Not just any car, but the car I had dreamed about for no less than a decade: the Subaru Impreza WRX. There was something about this car that always appealed to me, even before the WRX was sold stateside; originally it was the Impreza 2.5RS that caught my eye. What was so special about the WRX? Well, I loved the idea of having a small car with all-wheel drive and good power, all in a relatively affordable package. It was one car that could do it all. Oh, and that fresh rally blue paint and signature boxer rumble were easy on the eyes and ears. It was a long time coming. I was just about ready to place an order with my Subaru dealer. But wait. What's this? A new kid on the block. Subaru was releasing its long-time-coming, rear-wheel-drive sports car: the BRZ. I was enticed early on when it was announced that Toyota and Subaru would jointly develop a lightweight sports car, and my interest was piqued once I saw the beautiful FT-86 concept. Now I kind of had a tough choice. I still wanted the WRX, but also liked the idea of having a proper sports car with a low center of gravity and low weight. Very different cars, I know, but both offered the fun I craved. I didn't get to drive a BRZ, but I did sit in one and enjoyed the low seating position and crisp feel of the shifter. I could tell it was one car that would feel connected to the road, a true driver's car. After some deliberation and research, I ended up ordering the WRX, my original goal. Why? For one thing, the BRZ was so new that I couldn't get invoice pricing. Plus, with the winters here in Chicago, I really wanted AWD; I was pretty much tired of FWD, and didn't want to risk driving RWD in snowy/icy conditions. Further, the WRX provided usable back seats and plenty of cargo space in the hatchback version (which is the one I chose). To top it off, I loved the power I'd get with the WRX, even though it wouldn't handle quite like the low-slung BRZ. Long story short, it came down to what I mentioned earlier: one car that could do it all. The WRX is a jack of all trades. It offers a nice blend of performance and practicality. Do I have any regrets? Not at all. If my financial situation allowed for it, I would love to have an AWD daily driver and a RWD sports car for occasional use (either a BRZ, MX-5, or S2000), but since I could only afford one vehicle, the WRX was the right choice for me. I liked it so much, in fact, that I upgraded to a 2016 WRX.
Subaru shows racing versions of STI and BRZ
Fri, Jan 9 2015While we gear up for next week's Detroit Auto Show, the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon is currently on going, and Subaru has marked the occasion by trotting out a pair of new racers. First up, we have the car shown above, with the company's entry to the 2015 Nurburgring 24 Hour Race. Subaru is entering a WRX STI in the grueling endurance race, which runs from May 14 to May 17. The left-hand-drive racer has received a fair crop of upgrades for endurance duty, although Subaru didn't really bother to elaborate on them, unfortunately. Next to the N24 car, Subaru introduced a striking version of its rear-drive BRZ, destined for the Japanese Super GT series. The team campaigning the BRZ will be led by Subaru's Hideharu Tatsumi, who will also be one of the drivers for the Nurburgring effort. Again, Subaru hasn't offered any info on technical changes for the BRZ GT300. Scroll down for the brief press release, and then check out the galleries of both cars. 2015 SUBARU Motorsport Activities Tokyo, January 9, 2015 – Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) - the maker of Subaru automobiles and Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI)* unveiled the new racing car developed from the WRX STI for 24 Hours Nurburgring endurance race in 2015 and announced an outline of Subaru Motorsport activities for 2015 at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2015 with NAPAC (Japan Car Parts and Aftermarket Promotion Association). *: Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI; President Yoshio Hirakawa; located in Mitaka, Tokyo) Nurburgring 24-Hour Race STI will participate in the Nurburgring 24-Hour Race (from 14 to 17 May in Germany) for eight consecutive years, with a vehicle whose performance has been enhanced from its base car – the Subaru WRX STI. The race car's performance such as aerodynamics, stability, body rigidity and engine output have been enhanced compared to the previous model. In addition, visibility for racing flags has also been improved by introducing a left-hand drive car. Like last year, Hideharu Tatsumi will take the helm of team operations as team manager, in addition to the development of the car. The drivers are Sasaki (Japan), Lasee (Germany), van Dam (Netherlands) and Tim Schrick (Germany), the winner of 2014 VLN endurance racing championship who newly joins the team. SUPER GT Series Subaru, with the "SUBARU BRZ GT300" race car, will participate in the SUPER GT series this year as well, widely regarded as Japan's top motorsports category.
2022 New York Auto Show Roundup | All the reveals, reviews, pictures
Fri, Apr 15 2022NEW YORK — In case you missed it, the New York Auto Show took place this year after being canceled in both 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. A lot of manufacturers showed up in force, but not everybody did. No matter, we were there, and we brought you news, photos and scoops from the floor throughout the show. All of our New York-related stories can be found at our central hub here, but if youÂ’d rather just get a small taste of everything in a quick and digestible format, keep scrolling. 2023 Kia Telluride and its new X-Pro trim Kia revealed the TellurideÂ’s first major refresh at New York, and it makes the three-row crossover a little bit more desirable without screwing up what we liked about it before. ThereÂ’s a new X-Line and X-Pro trim for someone who might want a little more off-road capability, and a number of tech improvements. Most notably, a newly-designed dash features new and bigger screens. 2023 Hyundai Palisade The TellurideÂ’s sister car from Hyundai was treated to a similar refresh. Like the Telluride, Hyundai gave the Palisade a slightly revised look, a new off-road trim (called XRT in the PalisadeÂ’s case), more tech inside and a new dash design with full-width air vents. If we had to choose, weÂ’re a little more impressed with the TellurideÂ’s refresh, as a number of us on staff actually prefer the pre-refresh Palisade styling over the new one. 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L This one was inevitable. Jeep revealed the longer, roomier versions of its Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in New York, and theyÂ’re designated with an “L” at the end of their names. Total length grows by a foot, and the wheelbase goes up by 7 inches versus the standard Wagoneer models. Jeep has essentially allocated all this extra room to the cargo area, as it now offers a staggering 44.2 cubic-feet of space behind the third row. Besides the L, Jeep announced that its new Hurricane inline-six engine would find its first home in the Wagoneer. Efficiency gets a small boost, and power is more than sufficient at either 420 horsepower (standard output) or 510 horsepower (high-output version) from the twin-turbo I-6. Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept The Stellantis party continues with Chrysler and its slightly revised Airflow. Re-styled for the New York market after initially debuting at CES in Las Vegas, the Airflow Concept gets new paint, changed accent colors, a slightly changed interior design and a new interpretation of the Chrysler logo.
