2014 Subaru Brz Limited on 2040-cars
Carson City, Nevada, United States
eBay
I have for sale 2014 Subaru BRZ limited with Rocket Bunny widebody. All options from factory. Dual climate control,
leather and alcantara seats, HID headlamps, navigation, heated seats.... As of today, 6/9/19, vehicle has 29619
miles but that might change since I still drive the car to local car meets. It has a six speed manual transmission.
There are no grinds and clutch grabs like new. Widebody was installed by a profession hot rod shop in town. Rear
quarter panel was cut and welded, none of that cheap foam. Everything was done right! I replaced the tires about
300 miles ago along with a full alignment. Tires are Falken Azenis FK510 like new condition with plenty of thread
left. Car has always been garaged and oil change was always performed either 3 months or 3000 miles, which ever
came first. Wheels are Work Meitsers S1 3P which are 3 piece wheels. Sizes are 18x9.5 -1 in front with 235/45R18
tire and 18x11-20 in rear with 285/40R18 in rear, no spacers. No need to wait four months to order this wheels!
Engine is completely stock with a Perrin 3" catback exhaust ideal for boost. I've installed around $10k in mods.
I'll include a full list of parts. If you're looking for great looking, reliable daily driver, a base for a show
car or a full out road/drift race car this is the car for you

Subaru ending Tribeca production in January?
Fri, 18 Oct 2013The writing has been on the wall for some time, but it seems that Subaru is finally pulling the lever on the guillotine to put the midsize Tribeca crossover out of its misery. Jalopnik has what appears to be a communication from Subaru to its dealers announcing that the final Tribeca will roll off the Lafayette, IN assembly line in January, with the last dealer delivery expected to occur the following month.
The last report we heard regarding the Tribeca said that Subaru could be planning a fullsize, three-row crossover, possibly to compete against the Nissan Pathfinder and Ford Explorer. Dropping the Tribeca would leave the automaker without a three-row crossover for the foreseeable future, but according to the memo, Subaru has sold just 78,000 Tribecas since 2005 making it one of the worst-selling vehicles in the US in 2011 and 2012 - for comparison, the automaker has already found 84,372 customers for its new Forester this year (through September) alone.
We have reached out to Subaru for comment on the Tribeca's passing, but have yet to hear back as of this writing. Stay tuned for an update, when and if we get word.
Subaru WRX Concept hints at big performance, offers few facts
Thu, 28 Mar 2013
We're looking at a design statement only at this point.
Subaru has dropped the curtain on its truly attractive WRX Concept and, as previewed a few days ago, we're fast fans of the wide, low, muscular sedan. The concept car looks great, but there was a distinct lack of information being offered about the next-generation WRX that is sure to follow this concept - we're looking at a design statement only at this point.
Subaru uses a mime and a toy car to explain why it loves the boxer engine
Wed, 17 Apr 2013I will freely admit to struggling with why Subaru continues to stubbornly employ a boxer engine design while so few other automakers do the same. After all, with twice the number of cylinder heads and cams as a traditional inline four-cylinder engine, a boxer four is more complex, more expensive to manufacture and more cumbersome to service with few tangible benefits. Until recently, the company's engines struggled to meet the fuel economy numbers of its competitors while offering no real boon in horsepower or torque. Subaru seems to recognize I'm not the only one scratching my head.
In order to help us non-believers understand what's what, the company has employed a pair of mimes, a toy car and a few clay engines to demonstrate the folly of every other automaker on the planet. Subaru says the boxer offers up a lower center of gravity than either an inline four-cylinder engine or a V6, which I will gladly concede. The company also says the design offers up smoother operation.
I'll offer just two counterpoints here. First, an engine with a low center of gravity is excellent, but when vehicles like the Forester, XV Crosstrek and Outback boast more ground clearance than most mainstream SUVs, that argument flies out the window. Second, anyone who's spent any amount of time behind the wheel of a vehicle equipped with an inline four and then proceeded to move into one propelled by a boxer can tell you the latter has all of the idling manners of a small tractor. Check out the video below to see for yourself.
