army veteran is so right, im a female and this guy took advantage of me because i dont know much about this car machanic stuff. he said something about a starter that needs to be replaced and told me for parts its $280 and labor $400. my husband has an iphone with an application that tells him how much things really cost and cost for labor. he said 160 for parts and 180 for labor. i had no choice but to have him f... view moreix it because i had to get my car towed to his place. and one thing i didnt know was it cost money for them to check out what the problem is, to take things apart and to fix it. i didnt have the money for him to put it back together and tow it down the street to another machanic....... so i paid this happened to me like 4 months ago but i noticed that you can read and even write about busnesses on yellow page and saw what veteran guy had to say. i thought id put in my thoughts too.

plz DONT TRUST WALTS!!!

this is my experience with Walts: The owner Drew Walt ripped me off and took my money without performing services on my vehicle and told me "well sue me" this guy hung up on me just because he did not want to hear what i had to say. The story what i needed: simple, to have 2 lower control arms replaced in the REAR of my jeep and cam bolts put in the rear. lower links put in = $50 cam bolts put in = $100 ... view more total $150 walts replaced my FRONT lower control arms. and put the cam bolts in the front which is wrong. (he appolagized and told me it will be fixed) so far this guy did 2 mistakes in one and blames his machanic. he never called me to tell me it was fixed. so 3 days later i figure its already fixed and i go to the shop to see if its done. (the lower control arms are good but he did not put the cam bolts in the rear) i call walt at 5pm the next day at his business no answer, call his emergency number and left a message to tell him to call me back. HE NEVER CALLED. finally i call him 2 days later to see whats up with the cam bolts. he said it will be an additional 50 dollars. FOR WHAT? i already paid 100 for them to be put in. he said because they are in the rear. (makes no difference if in the front or rear) that is st8 up ripp off he then said "lets make it square just come pick up your jeep" IM OUT $100 and this guys business moto is "with a family touch" i dont know what kinda family he was raised by but where im from you treat people with dignity and respect. and im an U.S. ARMY VETERAN who faught in IRAQ.

Towing is expensive. nearly $100 just to take it down the street. im in need of a machanic right now and looking around and saw that you can read about and write about it. this happened to me 3 months ago but i feel everyone should know. I even think both 5 star comments left last year at the exact day was made up by the owner to fool people. i mean come on who talk like that. im fair when i judge and this guy is an "a"hole

Outstanding Honesty & Professionalism!!!!!

I brought my 1983 Mustang down to Walt`s Auto Service after someone had recommended their services to me. I had a LOCAL DEALERSHIP, who shall remain anonamous at this time, tell me that I needed a new clutch for my Mustang, costing me in excess of $600.00!!!!!!! I spoke to the service writer at Walt`s, who, by the way, seemed to be extremely knowledgable and articulated in his description of the Mustang, and he expla... view moreined to me in understandable terms, the probable,and possible, reasons for my clutch problem. He informed me that the technicians at Walts will conduct a full 30 point inspection, and properly diagnose my issue for me without delay. Well, it turns out, that all I needed was an adjustment of my clutch cable itself!! Not a new clutch!!!!!, like this SO-CALLED FORD DEALER had previously informed me of !!!!! All I can say is, THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!!!!, for the Honesty and Intergrity, and getting a reasonable and fair charge, instead of $600.00!! These guys at Walt`s have PROFESSIONALISM !!!!! and Awesome Customer Service, not to mention being FAIR and STRAIGHT - TALKING. I would recommend Walt`s to everyone who wants a REAL, HONEST, and CUSTOMER FRIENDLY, treatment for all of their Automotive needs!!!!!

Wow! Best experience ever!

I took my 2002 Mazda Miata to Walt`s Auto for a complete tune-up and service. I got the best customer service in a nice friendly environment, the service writer took the time to tell me specific details and didn`t try to gouge me with all kinds of expensive extra stuff I didn`t need. They finished before the estimated time they gave me, gave me a courtesy call that my car was ready when I was. When I got my car back... view more I hadn`t been charged a penny over the estimated price they gave me a complete detailed explaination of what they did and my car has never ran better. Overall 10`s across the board for Walt`s Auto.
