So I took my Honda minivan to ...

So I took my Honda minivan to Professional Automotive for an oil change. It seemed like the right place with multiple signs reading, "$16.95 Oil Change NO WAIT". I was encouraged when I walked into the shop and was greeted with smiling faces. The owner said he would have my car in and worked on in no time. About 25 minutes later I realized my car had not been worked on yet. So when I inquired about the... view more oil change they stated they were pulling the van in now. After they pulled the van in we discovered the oil drain bolt was stripped. So of course they kindly offered some assistance and options. I wanted the part replaced and oil changed. They had to order the part from a store and would be there in no time. They stated a brief time later the part was on Holland Road and the oil change would require more time. I advised them I had to leave but I could bring the car back on Friday. The owner stated he would have the part there Friday for the oil change. SO I arrive at the shop on Friday for the oil change. I am greeted by the owner who did remember me and my van. They stated they could get me in but it would be a small delay because they had to go get oil. Yes they ran out of oil! So I waited, waited, and waited about one hour. I kept seeing mechanics walk outside and walk past the window. So I got up to see what everyone was doing. hey had the owner and two mechanics working on one car in the parking lot. So I gathered my things and walked to the front desk. The mechanic immediately grabbed my keys off the clipboard and started walking to my car. I asked how long the oil change would take? The mechanic stated I will have it in and out in ten minutes. I then advised them about the bolt. The owner stated, "Oh I forgot about that and I do not have the part." So I would then have to wait more time for them to get oil and get the part from an auto parts store. So I could not wait another hour for this oil change and I left. The owner knew I was upset and just stated sorry and walked away. Considering I spent two hours in your shop over two days with no oil change to show for this. I would have at least expected something along the lines of, "Hey I am sorry but I can get you in first thing in the morning and get your oil changed." I was not looking for a free oil change or reduced oil change. I just want an oil change! I think the owner should have at least attempted to keep his customers happy. I wish I could say I would go back to this store. I am looking for a new repair shop to spend my hard earned money to keep my family safe. I just do not think Professional Automotive has enough experience or technical expertise to keep my family safe.

This is by far the best shop i...

This is by far the best shop in Virginia Beach to get work done on your vehicle. I took my car here about a month ago and they beat the other estimates for replacing my motor mount. The work was done quickly and the staff were excellent. I would recommend Professional Automotive Services to anybody looking for work done.

I had a weird noise coming fro...

I had a weird noise coming from the front of my car. I had already been to two other automotive shops and they could not figure it out. I was referred to them by a friend, so i took my car in and had them check out the noise. They were able to figure out what was making the noise and fix it for a good price. I would tell everyone to go there because they are all friendly and they know what they are doing.

Greatest repair experience in tidewater

My personal favorite repair shop,The staff goes over every aspect of the repair process as they are doing it. Any repairs are covered by a 24mo. 24000 mile warranty for piece of mind. I would not or could not go anywhere else for anything! Where else can you get fair and honest pricing.What else can I say they are great.

Best place to take your car very clean shop and locally owned and operated,the cooling fan exploded on my grand cherokee.I called several shops in the area but everyone seemed too busy to address my concerns about time and of course money! DO NOT GO HERE! I thought I was getting great service until I found out that the parts I had paid for were never replaced, the work was done badly. I know of 3 other people who have had issues with them. Waste of time and money, save yourself the hassle and frustration!

This is a great shop to bring ...

This is a great shop to bring your car. The first thing i noticed about the shop is wow it is the cleanest shop ive seen in a while. The manager is very friendly and helped me figure out what was going with my car. The technician alex is very good with imports and fixed my car very fast and the price was very resonable.
