Reviews:
Worst ever in my life
In 45 years of car repair this was the worst experience. I went in for a simple brake job.
They kept the six days. Various new charges were assessed despite the ?ˆ?No hidden charges?ˆ? claim. The original quote $214, was increased more than $90 for new brake lines which they admitted they crimped while doing the job (eventually removed from total bill), and then I had to take the vehicle immediately to the dealer for... view more brake fault warnings. The dealer charged to bleed brakes and put a note on the invoice ?ˆ?fluid low, improper brake bleed procdure.?ˆ?
The first time I got the car back from Big Al?ˆ™s on day one after a short drive, a passing car blew its horn and pointed. Looking out the back window I saw smoke billowing from the rear of the car. I tested the brakes and had very little braking power. Big Al?ˆ™s told me the car was fixed but the brakes they ?ˆ?fixed?ˆ? made the car dangerous to drive. Five days later I got the car a second time and was told a brake light switch was the problem. They replaced the switch but the warning light was still signaling. I got in to drive the car and found a brake fault warning (not switch) warning STOP! I took the car directly to the dealer for an additional charge of ~ $90. I will never use this after market service again and am considering legal action.
