I`m usually particular about where I take my vehicles but went here because it was walking distance to my home, even if this one was a beater--albeit with under 100k. They quickly replaced my alternator but I asked them to check out an overheating issue. They pressure tested it and couldn`t find a leak--the reservoir held fluid when there. Four days later--and 3 more containers of coolant--my head gasket blew. ... view moreIt appears the coolant was leaking into the engine somehow from the brown mixture at the rear of the block. Needless to say, I will continue to go out of my way to my usual shops. Vonderlehr for tires, Jackson`s Exhaust, North American Transmission, and Automotive Specialty for anything else--mechanics go to this guy. Nice enough guys and trustworthy, but not competent.

Quality parts, knowledge, service

I have been a customer for most of the past 20 years. Always get more than I expect from this shop in terms of quality work, knowedgable employees and fair prices. They do it right the first time and it is a job that lasts. In fact I will be taking on of our cars there later this wee that got abused on a new mufferler and cat (unexpected need in Atlanta) to ask then to re-arrange everything correctly.

Honest, Reliable, Quick, Qualty

I`ve taken 2 of my Jeep`s to The Muffler Shop for all kinds of repairs from major to minor, state inspections and custom muffler work. I usually drop my car off in the morning and by the afternoon it`s done. Work is top quality, great priced and the guys are always always professional and courteous.

Honest guys

Three others gave me a quote over $600. Roy`s said drop it off we will take a look at it. Called me less than 30 minutes ""It`s ready"" Cost was 30 dollars. That was 2 years ago and still going string. another time they replaced a part they had previously replaced and there was no charge. It was over a year old. Overcharge for parts and labor, DO NOT USE Roy Hendricks
Charged over $700 to replace distributor cap, spark plugs, and wires on a 2000 Honda accord EX . about $100 dollars worth of parts. They charged $272 for a distributor I priced from NAPA at $20 to $60. Labor charge was not real time used but average time from 10 vehicles...? C`mon, this was a four cylinder Honda accord with the distributor, plugs and wires ... view moreright in front and easily accesible. They claimed 1 hour to change them , at $40 dollars every 1/2 hour. They charged over 3 hours and 20 minutes of labor when there for 2 hours. When questioned they claimed it is time averaged from industry standards. The owner, Roy, would not come and discuss at front but stayed in the garage area and sent messages through desk jockey. By the way it was my 64 year old mother who had this work done and did not know she was being had by Roy Hendricks. DO NOT USE ROY HENDRICKS MUFLER & AUTOMOTIVE!!!

This place is Nice, Quick and Affordable!

I came to The Muffler Shop to get a exhaust pipe fixed since my car got rejected when Inspected. Other places where charging me alot !!! I got referred here and their price was very very reasonable. They had great customer service and finish my car in a rather convient time!!! I was sooo impressed. Definitely recommend this place and come again if i need anything else done!
