Money hungry crooks.

Never go here, never. They are nothing but money hungry crooks that take advantage of people in need. My horrible horrible experiences here and at Midas short pump got me to start educating myself in auto repair and the business of them and I can tell you, this guy is a crook. He charged my brother 2 thousand dollars for a coolant leak. On a used vehicle i bought from the dealership only a month prior. I was shocked ... view moreand tried to reason with him and finally he said, "ill try to work with ya" and brought the price down a few hundred. but after it turned out he raised the price back up the few hundred without telling me. The vehicle wasn`t really drivable because of how bad the leak was, and he took full advantage of it knowing we couldn`t easily take it elsewhere because of towing expenses, on top of that as a little insurance for himself he stated that even if we decided not to proceed we would have to pay several hundred to "take apart" the vehicle.which we never authorized and discussed at all. My skin crawls and I get very angry every month when I have to fork out more money to this guy for payments. Now I`m not an expert on auto repair. So maybe, just maybe it honestly DID cost 2 grand for the leak, so the disclaimer here is: please, PLEASE be very cautious. Get a second opinion, ask him to show you the problem, to give you the part he "replaced" so you know he DID replace it. And be sure to tell them and make it VERY VERY clear that you aren`t going to fork out a dime unless its in writing. There are certain auto repair places you feel good about, that you never feel ripped off at. But this place, I FELT utterly screwed and taken for. I knew absolutely nothing about auto and repair at this time, I`ve since educated myself on it to the point where I know this wont happen again to me. This experience here shook me so hard that I will never in my life put my trust in another auto technician unless I get to know and feel comfortable with them.
