Great Car Care
My daughter, an ODU summer student, had a breakdown on the day she was coming home (home being 150 miles from ODU), had no cash, nowhere to stay, and I WAS NOT going to leave her there overnight. Pretty much all the shops in Norfolk were telling me they couldn`t or wouldn`t service the car (i.e., the car had to be towed to their shop, then they would get to it, probably the next day). I finally hit on University Car ... view moreCare, who looked at the car where it sat, determined it safe to drive to the shop, worked on it, repaired it, and had my daughter on the road home in 1-1/2 hrs from when they were contacted. She was on the way home before it got dark out. They charged me less than a lot of shops would charge for 1/2 hour, much less 1-1/2 hours! True integrity of service. I rest comfortable in the knowledge that I have a local shop I can count on while she`s at ODU the next few years.

They are a bunch of theives
I went to them to get an inspection on my car. They called me at work and told me that I needed several things done before I could pass inspection and it would cost me $400 dollars. I was freaking out because I did not have the money. I told them about my money situation and asked if there were cheaper parts. Instead of being a respectful and professional company they used scare tactics. They told me that I should no... view moret drive my car because something bad might happen. I did not appreciated it one bit. I asked them to put a failed sticker on my car and went to firestone. They said my situation was not that serious and that I just need brake pads. I had to pay $140 dollars instead of $400. This company is known on campus by many of my co workers for it`s ridiculous tactics to generate business. We just want what is necessary done to our car. They are the worst company and I will never go back to them again.
