On March 22, 2013, Mr. William Lawson, an agent of your used car dealership sold me a 1998 Volkswagon Jetta for sixteen hundred dollars cash. As we completed the contract at your dealership, Mr. Lawson had engaged the services of Mr. Ryan Powers of the Car Care Auto Center to replace a tie-rod and perform a legitimate state inspection on the vehicle. I picked up the car at 5:30 that afternoon bearing a State Inspec... view moretion sticker. Driving it the first couple days, I noticed the smell of gas on occasion and noted that it had consumed half a tank of gas while only traveling 60 miles. On Thursday, March 28, 2013, I took the car to Seredni?ˆ™s Goodyear Tire and Auto. He and seven other employees will testify to the fact that a legitimate state inspection was NOT performed. The fuel filter, gas line, fuel tank and floorboards are rusted, corroded and leaking badly. Seredni said there is no way to replace a tie-rod without noticing the obvious fuel dripping from the filter and the extensive corrosion under the car. Yet, Mr. Powers checked the OK column for ?ˆ?Fuel System?ˆ?. I am in contact with the State Police regarding Mr. Powers?ˆ™ integrity and possible collusion with Mr. Lawson to fraudulently facilitate the sale of unfit vehicles.. The car I purchased was not fit for its intended use. Mr. Lawson represented he thoroughly inspected the vehicle. There is no way a rust problem as bad as was found could have been missed by a thorough inspection. HIs misrepresentation is fraud. The fraud is further enhanced by the fact that Mr. Lawson sold a car with a Salvage Title without informing me.
