NOT THE BEST AND RATHER INCOMPETENT

My vehicle has been there about 5 times to fix the AC because of a freon leak. The compressor was changed and the problem continued, in two days the freon was all gone again. Then the fan clutch was changed and in 48 hours the freon was all gone again, then the O-rings were changed and the problem persisted without change, then the ""fill valve"" was replaced and in 48 hours the freon was again empty. Problem co... view morentinues to persist, in no more than 48 hours after each ""repair"" the AC is completely out of freon again. Obviously ... the compressor was not the problem, the O-rings was not the problem, the fan clutch was not the problem. I find it difficult so accept that each of those things was ""for sure"" the cause of the problem?, yet it is still the same. They have a highly incompetent diagnostic staff at this location and somewhat dishonest. Obviously neither the compressor nor the fan was the problem and those are expensive items I paid for. They paid for the O-rings and checking the fill valve, however ... I am out a lot of money on items that did absolutely nothing to correct the problem ... which still exist. Stay away from this store

Thank you for the excellent service!

Took my vehicle in for state inspection, oil change and a tire balance. I was greeted politely and the waiting area was very clean. They got me in and out quickly. This is a gem of a shop, but it is hard to locate.

Adjusted my alignment WAY out of spec,

I took my vehicle to Brake Specialist Plus for an oil change and agreed to let them inspect the vehicle while they were at it. After about an hour I received a call from Will at the front desk telling me my alignment was way off. I authorized him to adjust it- big mistake. After just a short time I find that the front tires are wearing very quickly and by the time I made it back most of the tread was gone. They p... view moreut it back up on the machine and tell me the machine says the alignment is fine- no matter that the tires look like ive been driving over a cheese grater. I don`t care what the machine says, I care that the vehicle is performing poorly and the alignment ""fix"" they performed has cut most of the life out of $500 tires. It was evident that they were unwilling and incapable of fixing the problem so I took my vehicle to an alignment shop for some answers. Turns out Break Specialist Plus adjusted my alignment so that the total toe was almost 2 degrees! That`s AN ORDER OF MAGNITUDE out of specification. Thanks for nothing Brake Specialists Plus! Avoid!

Charged but no service!

I went to this shop with a coupon that stated I would receive a 5 qt synthetic oil change, 26 point inspection, rotate tires, free AC check and %10 any service needed for $19.99. They made me wait 20 minutes in the beginning when I showed them the coupon. Then the manager came in and started to only to talk about the free AC check and how it was going to cost me $99 to do this. I showed him the coupon and he asked if... view more I wanted the oil change. What? I said I wanted all the services on the coupon. He said it would take about an hour. I came back two hours later only to have to wait twenty more minutes. When I arrived, the manager was eating his burger and ignoring me. When I tried to talk to him he said let me finish my burger and I`ll get to you. After I paid, I checked my paperwork and their is no mention or information of the 26 point inspection, the tire have not been rotated and I had to aks about the AC. He said ""Oh yeah I can get you an estimate but their no guarantee it would work."". Basically I got an oil change and that`s it. I checked the oil and filter to make sure that happened. Fast tune up on my Mazda

I brought in my spark plugs, coils and wires for Brakes Specialists to install and they were more than happy to do it. They advised me that there would be no warranty on the service, but they would definitely perform the work. A lot of other shops turned me away, since they don`t install customer parts. Oustanding Service, Very Pleased

The manager explained everything thoroughly and updated me with any other issues during the day. My vehicle was finished in one day, eventhough they had to perform a 120k service on it and fix the brakes. I am very pleased with their effort and the end result.

OEM brakes on my Lexus

I came to this location due to the great reviews and I was not disappointed. I asked the manager for the OEM pads for my vehicle and he said it would be no problem. He even showed me the box the pads came in. My front brakes are great at this time and I have no complaints whatsoever. Thanks for the great service.

Diagnosed my issue correctly the first time!

I used to frequent Firestone for my maintenance, but they have been giving me the run around on a check engine light issue I have been dealing with. They keep my vehicle for a couple of days and can`t figure out the problem. They have done this to me several times. I decided to take my vehicle to the Brakes Specialists at 12990 Research based upon the favorable reviews this shop has gotten. My vehicle has been running better and the check engine light has not come back on at this time. The weird thing was that the egr valve was under warranty with Firestone, but they could never figure out my issue??? A big thank you goes out to the guys at Brake Specialists for fixing my issue.

Very Satisfied with My Brake Repairs

I had a leaking wheel cylinder on my old Ford truck and brought it over to the guys at Brake Specialists on Research Blvd. They replaced both of my wheel cylinders, the contaminated brake shoes and spring hardware on my rear brakes. They gave me a lifetime warranty on the parts, since they had to replace the hydraulic portion of my rear brakes and a 18K mile warranty on labor. Nice Manager, Very Thorough Vehicle Inspection

I was pleasantly suprised by how polite and friendly the manager is at this location. He even took me out to the bays to see my vehicle first hand with him. I had just had my vehicle at another shop and they had told me several things that needed to be done. I wanted a 2nd opinion, so I was referred to this Brake Specialists by Discount Tire on Anderson Mill. They showed me the areas where I was told that the ve... view morehicle needed repairs from the previous shop. They also pointed out that I actually needed fewer repairs than I was lead to believe.
