I bought a truck from POPs a 2001. When I got the sticker for it, the sticker was already out of date. Then I got behind with my payments and they sent a guy to my work site to get the truck. I had a trailer on the back of the truck. The guy jumped in the truck with my trailer and ran me over with my own trailer, and put me in the ER. I got out of the ER and went up there and nobody know anything about who ran me ... view moreover. I ask for the owner and his name and nobody in there would tell me anything. Just telling me that they were sorry. But this is not over. I gave them the money to my truck and trailer back, and the radio was missing and a dent on the front of the truck. I guess the guy didn`t know how to drive with a trailer. Well I know he didn`t because he hit me.

Nothing wrong with POPS Auto.

Well I have never been to a toe the note lot, but had to for what I wanted I got a 2007 Tahoe from POPS Auto. Absolutely perfect I too had to replace my tiers, other then that not one problem. My truck cost me less then the Chevrolet dealer was offering for the same year vehicle. You all are talking like you went to a brand new dealership. Come on really your digging them in the ground like it ant nothing. When you where in their face it mostly all smiles, these people are helping you when no one else will. So please remember you pay for a use car and that what you got, unforuationly you have problems but fix them it?ˆ™s your vehicle, that what comes along with use cars and another thing is there are different types of use cars there one from a dealership like Auto Max and then there Toe The Note use cars. So please stop bashing these people as if they did help you when u had no money down and no credit or mostly 1 or more repos and could not get better deals. Consider them a blessing! Now I do think better customer services can be given, I had a few rude comments but just maybe trying asking them how there day went. Or try letting them know they are being rude but in a nice way 2 wrongs don?ˆ™t make it right. Plus we all have bad day maybe you caught that end of the stick. But that?ˆ™s just me and my thinking. And as far as the owner who care what he wears he the owner he sets his life style and it makes the decision on what is staff can wear. I would be happy if I could be comfortable at work all day. UNPROFESSIONAL would be an understatement..
bought a dodge charger from a man wearing flip flops and shorts.. within the first three months they ""LOST"" the title to it, MADE me switch the car out and raised my payment on it.. and when i drove 45 minutes from plano to arlington to dispute it.. the exact words of the OWNER [who by the way was talking to me with sunglasses on and a cigarette in his mouth] were.. i really hope whomever reads this takes my story into consideration and REALLY shops around before choosing ""POP`S auto""

So I bought what I thought was my ``dream car"" from Pop`s. They were easy to deal with, this I will say. They ""helped"" me out, but it cost a small fortune. The car I bought had a KBB retail value of $5,500, however, my total with Pops was almost $11,000! WTF?? I needed a car, and had no other choice. However, when it came to payments, these people are the Greediest of the Greedy. Three days after committing to a p... view moreayment of only $175, they were at my door to pick it up. I should say, they never knocked, I actually found two strangers in my garage (they broke into my closed garage after being 3 days late on a payment). These people do whatever they want, with no regard to our rights as American citizens. So needless to say, I have no vehicle, and I have already paid the legal retail value of this vehicle. Since they make you sign a waiver when you purchase a vehicle stating that you will not sue them, I am out almost $6,000, and still have no car. So honestly, who is the ""hater"" here. These guys are thieves, plainly put. However, if one goes in there and talks to anybody in there, it is plainly obvious.

Dont believe the haters

I bought a car from Pops, they were able to help me when others would not help with the down payment I had to work with. The process took longer than I wanted. The car that I bought has been running pretty good. Not many problems with the car. The price was fair, the interest rate was fair as well. The only bad thing I can say about the car is this. It needed tires when I bought it. It would not have cost them a lot ... view moreof money to put some decent tires on the car. So, I felt kind of ripped off that I had to buy 4 new tires for a car that I just bought. I would however recommend Pops to a friend if they needed help getting a decent car at a decent price.

Escort.

I bought a Ford Escort from Pops about 2 yrs ago, and I have had nothing but problems with it. First it was the tires no problem, then it was the right wheel bearing, then the brakes, then the brake switch, then the spark plugs and wires, the motor mounts are wore out, and now im having to replace the ignition switch in the car, and for this car to be a 2001 its more like a 1990, come on think before you buy from her... view moree... Now im stuck with fixing a car and paying more than its worth... found ouit also its been wrecked and the front end has been fixed and repainted...So please think...
