Worst Service Ever!!!!!!!
Took my 2010 Camaro in scheduled maint, new wipers, check the left front because of weird tire wear and for a 2nd attempt to find an AC leak. Week 1, they did oil change, wipers and found an oil leak at the pan, each were fixed, said they finally found the AC issue, week 2, brought it back for AC evap cor repair, alignment was so far off it was pulling hard right. End of week 2, picked car up, alignment still pulling... view more hard right, AC not cooling and dash wasn`t put together properly including the steering wheel cap holding the air bag in. Found 3 screws on floor and a tool under the seat.
Week 3, brought it back for alignment, dash issues and AC not cooling. Picked it up the next day, AC appears to cool, but blows on feet when not set to, alignment was not to GM spec per report, even though they insist it is. Onstar light now goes red.
I paid for an alignment even though it was not done. They refuse to refund money because they think its right, even though the report from the alignment machine shows it is off. This is from the service manager Larry Volkman.
Will never buy another vehicle from them nor will they ever service one.

Worst Service Dept. Experience!!!
I have taken my car there for service 6 times for the same problem and hasn`t been repaired under warranty, when I complained they tell you to take it somewhere else and the service manager James Hebert gets aggravated really easily and does not want to listen to the customer and questions the customers knowledge, very bad attitude for being a service manager! They take your money when you buy it there but DO NOT wan... view moret to service it or even have knowledgable serice techs. I knew more than they did!

Great new car prices, but service not too good
I have purchased several new vehicles from them and I always get good prices. But when I have to get out of warranty repairs done, the prices they charge are way over priced. One time I compared costs to get my van repaired and their estimate was $3700 and I went over to Manvel and get the same repair done for only $1600! what a difference. I asked them to meet that price and they said no and then charged me a $125 c... view moreharge just to look at it and give me that high estimate. They would not release my van until I paid them the $125 for doing nothing at all.

Very Respectful
I`m only 18 years old and on my own I have been browsing for cars all over alvin. I saw a beautiful bright blue pontiac g5 sitting in the lot and stopped in to check it out. When I walked in the front doors, I was immediatley greeted. I assumed that the gentlemen was eager to help me because I was so young and he quickly thought I was going to be buying a car right then and there. I let him know I was just there to l... view moreook and I needed my step dad there to approve anything. I told him about the pontiac and he got the keys and said, ""You wanna test drive it?"" I was like hell yeah! After cruising around Alvin for about 10 minutes we returned to the lot and he gave me his business card. He completely understood I wasnt interested in purchasing the car right now. He was very respectful and a great service representative. I would recommend Ron Carter to anyone!

Stay away from Ron Carter!!
My husband and I were shopping around for a GMC Acadia. We had many vehicle specifications in mind so we knew we would probably have to order one. The saleman never introduced himself or gave us a business card. He was extremely unprofessional and seemed put out when he was showing us vehicles (even though we were at the dealership for a total of maybe 40 minutes). When I said I probably would like to just order an A... view morecadia to get what I really want and would like to see what kind of deal I could get, the salesman said, ""I`m not going to b***s**t you. These are popular and we`ll probably only give you the $500 rebate."" The salesman kept trying to show us Acadias I told him I was not interested in. He was also very uninformed regarding the names of the colors and option packages. I felt like I knew more than him after only doing 20 minutes of research online. We finally went inside so we could price a vehicle if I just ordered one (knowing full well that I would NEVER by a car from this guy). When the salesman said the price, I asked if they could do better than that. He said rudely, ""I just took the time to show you this and you will not get this car for what you are looking to pay."" We immediately left, although I should have complained to this man`s manager, and went to another dealership we had looked at before. We ordered an Acadia to my specifications and they gave us a much better deal (pretty much exactly what I was willing to pay). Plus, they said it would take 6 weeks, while the salesman at Ron Carter said it was going to take 3 mos. I really think the salesman at Ron Carter did not want us to order a vehicle and, instead, buy one on the lot, so he could get his commission sooner. I will never return to Ron Carter again as this employee has tainted the my view of the company.

bad customer service
The customer service I recived at the ron carter in alvin on hwy 6 was the worst i had ever been treated. I will never send anyone to them after the way they treated me i was disgusted with the sales person , half the time they werent even at the lot and had to wait over a hour and finaly left before someone contacted me while i was on my way home. I will do anything i can to protect someone from having to go throug... view moreh a experiance like i did while trying to get a car noone should have to put up with a sells person telling u one thing and then the same day tell u something diffrent if they ever want me to even try to look at a car on one of their lots they need to work on their employess and teach them what customer sevice is actually about.
