I was introduced to McClure Motors and I have not had a problem. I would have car trouble as it happens and they towed my car in for me, and I just paid for the repairs, not the car note and nothing was said. Mr. McClure is like any other older being, you have to intercept and pray about it, I had a baby and missed a month of payments and no one came to pick up my car, instead I called and he told me how are you, how... view more is the baby? I got a car at Barrett Motors and after being with them for over 2 years they wouldn`t fix my car because I was behind, which was my first time ever and my car would have been paid off this year!! I returned car back to them and went BACK to McClure Motors . . . they will always have my business!!

Bad Experience

If you would like to buy a used vehicle, McClure motors is not the place to buy a car from at all! The man is not profession at all by any means necessary. He does not know how to talk in a good manner to anyone. He should be ashamed to sell another car. I purchased a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix from there and it had transmission issues that he claims that he did not know anything about. He has an assistant named he... view morenry who is just a fluky there and he does not know a thing. He is always lying and says that the transmision has been ordered and it has never been ordered. I had gone to to talk to Mr McClure after being told that he was not in the office. I pulled up in the car with my sister and he was sitting in the office with customers and he yells out that I will talk to you in the morning as I discussed over the phone in a very horrible and upleasant tone. He says he will make his dog bit me if I do not leave. I would like to inform anyone who needs a car please pass him up! I hope that he never sells another car a day in hi life! Buyer Beware!!!!! - This place is sour

Keep in mind this is the first review i have ever written but i was actually hurt by the attitude of the owner of this company and I hope noone else gets ripped off after three months of this lemon lot. In August I paid $900 down on a 97 buick lesabre and was super happy especially when they told me they would help with any repairs. After three months of maintenance and care I was on my way to church and my car s... view moretarted running hot. I pulled over at a gas station and it cut out on me. I attempted to restart it with no luck. I called the next day to see if they could tow me back to the shop and was told that they couldn`t but would help me if i brought the car to them. The guy i had tow me was also a mechanic and told me that these cars frequently had engine trouble do to the aluminum heads. When i got to the lot i found only a receptionist who couldn`t tell me anything accept that her boss would be back 30 min. before closing time. Needless to say he was very uninterested in talking to me, a paying customer, whom he had already made $1,500 off of, about my problem. I remained calm and tried to make a deal to be put into another vehicle that a mechanic, i brought, deemed the only one worthy of being purchased. His attitude indicated that he was not interested in helping me at all so I decided to stay away from McClure Motors and urge everyone else to do the same unless you have $1,500 or more to waste.
