I took my car in to have work done on the axle and was told my brake rotors would need to be replaced in the next 4 months along with the pads since the rotors were too thin to be turned again. I took their word for it but decided to do it myself since I knew I could do it for a lot less than what they would ask. After buying the pads and rotors I took the front tires off only to discover they were fine. In fact, the... view more pads were almost brand new (I bought the car a few months earlier) and the rotors not only didn`t have any grooves, they were thicker than the new ones! Firestone wanted to replace perfectly fine parts and charge me hundreds of dollars to do it. I will never go here again and I advise you to stay way unless you like wasting money on work you don`t need.
