Superior Technical Automobile Repair
I have been using Japanese Auto Tech to repair my three cars since December of 2004. The owner of the company and all his mechanics are very knowledgeable and courteous. They make me feel that I am the most important customer they have and when they are working on my cars it`s like their working on their own! They stand behind all their work and provide me the peace off mind that my cars are in excellent running con... view moredition providing my family with a high level of safety. Give them a try and I have no doubt that you will feel the same way about them as I do.

Best Shop In Town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took my 1998 Dodge Dakota in to Japanese Auto Tech / Alltech Automotive yesterday for a check engine light. I had already been to another shop that I will not mention and they were going to try to rip me off. I dealt with David and Claudia at Japanese Auto Tech and they were very professional and very nice. They gave me a ride back to my house so I could be comfortable waiting for my car to be done. I had taken it ... view morein that morning and by lunch they had a diganosis for me. The repairs I needed on my truck were half the price of the other shop and they had done a free 31 point inspection and gave me a list of things that I would need to watch out for but that everything on the list could wait. I have never had a more pleasant experience at an automotive repair shop as I did at Japanese Auto Tech. I will never go any where else for anything on my vehicle. If there is something that cant be done there they are willing to take it wherever it needs to go to get your vehicle repaired properly.

RIP OFF! WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!!!
I brought my 2000 Mitsubitshi Eclipse in for a check up last week because the car went dead one day (and I`m quite certain that there were no lights left unattended) and it also has some engine noices. I was charged $95 + change to be told that there is nothing wrong with the car except that the brand new battery that I bought 2 months ago is bad & needed replacement. They also offered me a deal to have my air fil... view moreter + transmission oil + steering & braking fluid + driving belt replaced for a total $350 and i will get a refund of the check up fee of $95.

I had my battery checked at Walmart & Sears, confirmed that the batter is in perfect condition. Then Sears told me that the wheel bearings is broken and the needed replacement. Which was the cause of the noice that Japanese Auto Tech claimed to not have heard of! I also go my airfilter replaced for less than $15 (part & labor) at Walmart!

What a rip off! Got charged $95 to be told that there is nothing wrong with my car!!!

somewhat expensive for what you get, sometimes shoddy work
I`ve brought two different cars to Japanese Auto Tech, on four different occasions. The first time the work they did was fine (clutch), but only after bringing it back because the clutch cable wasn`t attached/adjusted properly and it started slipping badly within a couple days. The second, was for a starter which they fixed without any issues. The third was for brakes, initially the brakes were fine, but within a mo... view morenth began vibrating, and after bringing it back for further repair a few times, and having the problem get progressively worse (vibration, grinding, clunking) I gave up. Recently, I took it somewhere else for the brakes and it turns out the core of the problem was a dragging caliper. Apparently Japanese auto tech was unable to diagnose this even though the brakes were dragging pretty bad on one side and probably had been for quite a while. The grinding and clunking was caused by a 3rd party disk that didn`t fit the hub properly that Japanese auto tech installed as part of the repeated returns. A company advertising brake expertise should be able to diagnose a dragging caliper, especially when all the symptoms are there.

The last time I went, was a pretty basic repair (wheel bearing seal), that required a couple of ""special service tools"", or some creativity with a press to complete. They turned the job down after keeping the car for a couple of days. This is because they didn`t want to buy the special service tools for a Toyota and previously they were getting the local dealership to do the press work. When the dealership stopped accepting axles for pressing they were unable to complete the repair. In my opinion a repair shop that specializes in ""Japanese vehicles"" is announcing to the world that they are willing to buy the special service tools, shop manuals and subscribe to the TSB`s for Japanese vehicles. Apparently this isn`t the case and a they won`t invest in $150 worth of tools to complete a job, or even google ""toyota wheel bearing""

I have lost my faith in mechanics
I took my car several timer to Japanese Auto Tech because my car had an oil leak in my car. Even though the mechanics at Japanese Auto Tech started changing all the known seals in my car, they never fixed my problem. They charged me almost 2,000 dollars total. I think they don`t even know how to diagnose. Stay away, for the sake of your wallet.

I don`t have much trust in mechanics anymore, but!
Japanese Autotech I was impressed with, in short the mechanic the worked on my car was enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy his work, which to me makes all the difference as far as I`m concerned.

Thank You Thank You!
Japanese Auto Tech did a great job, and when there was a problem, they got to it right away, and my car has been running great ever since. David, thank you so much. I have been recommending your shop to all the Nissan owners in my office. I`ll be back whenever necessary.

I`ll Be Back!
I wanted to thank you and your team for one, doing a great job on my car and two, for making me feel so comfortable. Usually I end up feeling patronized and insulted after getting work done on my car, but not at Japanese Auto Tech. Thanks again. I will definitely return for future services.
