Probably Won`t Buy Here Again

Here`s the deal. I was looking for decent, reliable transportation to motor around town, grocery store, doctors appointments and so on so I found a KIA Sedona van that looked to be in pristine condition. Test drive went well, vehicle mileage was high but not too high and over-all I was and am pleased with the van. The problem is this. The night before I picked up the van, Gaylen assured me that he would look it ov... view moreer bumper to bumper and specifically said he would check for any safety related problems. The next afternoon, I went to pick up my van. No problem until sunset when I noticed a headlight was out. No problem $30.00 later at O`Reilly and I was on my way even though Gaylen assured me he would check ""safety"" issues. Vehicle drove fine until the weekend when a sensor light came on and the van died and would not start in an intersection. I called Clear Lake Auto World and they were no help. Granted, they were under no obligation but they offered NOTHING. $330.00 later, the sensor was fixed and the van drove fine. Not sure I trusted Gaylen`s vehicle maintenance assurances, I went to Midas for an oil change. The two tires on the front are dry-rotted and need replaced. So much for that safety inspection he promised. This week, I am having the air conditioning fixed. Another $400.00 repair bill. Here`s where I am coming from: Headlight should have worked before van was driven off lot and I should not have had to check it. Sensor light. No problem. Unforeseen and I am sure Gaylen did not know this was going to happen or could happen. Dry rotted tires, Gaylen should have replaced them before selling me the van. Air conditioner made noise when I bought it, in fact Gaylen had been driving it so I am sure he knew it did not work. I don`t feel good about this purchase. My van is overall in great shape but after I have put almost $1,000.00 into it. For a company that says they want repeat business, they certainly have not appeared that way to me.

Nice place to do business.. Good prices..

These guys do a good job and work hard to get people financed. They have credit union financing and made it easy. You can sign the credit union contracts at the dealership. No high presure selling. They may be a little under staffed but the money saved was worth the wait. We bought a Mercedes SUV. Great car..So far no problems.

Poor customer service and bad business

I took my vehicle into Clear Lake Auto World to sell my vehicle and paid a consignment fee of $200 to sell my vehicle. On December 21st someone walked into Clear Lake Auto World looking for a vehicle. The owner of Clear Lake Auto World gave this person keys to my vehicle without getting any information or getting a copy of the person?ˆ™s driver`s licenses. After Galen Medlenka (owner of C.L.A.W) gave the my keys to som... view moreeone he didn?ˆ™t know he starting taking phone calls for about 10 ?ˆ“ 15 minutes with no regards to security of my vehicle that he was supposed to sell. After he went out 10 ?ˆ“ 15 minutes later he notices my vehicle was stolen. My vehicle was found but it has cost me over $580 to get my vehicle back and in running condition not including the damage that was done to it. I fell that due to Galen Medlenka negligence he should reimburse me for the tow and impound fee, tow bill to dealership and cost to have key made and programmed. Galen Medlenka feels that he?ˆ™s not responsible for any cost even though he is the one that gave the person the keys and didn?ˆ™t fallow any of there normal procedures.

beware

be careful with this bunch , they will tell you they will fix your car and send you to one of thier "friends" nasa auto clinic . when you go pick up your car you get the bill and the dealership acts like they don;t know anything ...the owner never even tried to help ..his responce "ooops " i believe this dealership and the auto repair place has a sham going on !!!!!! for a bill that was total $318.00 they would not... view more even split it with me ..they have no regard for the customer after the paper work is signed ...i would never ever recommend buying from the place ever unless you like to have stick shoved in your asssss...and if they read this im the one with the 2002 sebring .....
