i took my truck in to this David Bowen guy for some minor repair to my brakes, because they were screeching. so he keeps it for over two weeks and then charges me $515 just to put on a new rotor, a couple new brake pads, and a couple of brake hoses. less than a week later, the brakes dont work AT ALL! and this truck is not even a daily driver. so i went to talk to him about it, and with a smirk on his face he specula... view moretes the master cylinder is no good. keep in mind that when i confronted him about it, i kept my cool and didnt act a fool. and once i pointed out to him that $500 is a lot of money to pay for having my truck NOT being able to stop- he got pretty loud, snippy, and rude with me and said that $500 was a small price to pay for a brake job, and that the best he could do was charge me a couple hundred bucks to have it towed to his shop so he can look at it, and then charge me to fix the brakes again. so basically, he was saying there was nothing he was willing to do to rectify the situation. well, all i know is my truck didnt have a problem stopping before it went into his garage, and now it doesnt stop at all. just saying. i think he may have sabotaged the brakes so i would have to come back to him and fork over another $500. i would not recommend my worst enemy going to this guy. personal ratings: Customer Service: FAIL Expedient completion: FAIL Reasonable Pricing: FAIL Courtesy to customers: DOUBLE FAIL i give this establishment a one star rating, only due to the fact there is no option to give star ratings below none.
