If could give a zero, I would. Where do I begin? Firstly, this was the only place that our Troy Bilt lawnmower could be taken for service, under the warranty. We first took it in, and my husband thought he knew what was wrong, and just asked, "I think this is what it is... can you tell me IF that is the problem, is it under warranty?" He was planning to fix it himself. NOPE! They had to look at ... view moreit... And of course that`s a $25 charge (I think, it`s been a while). Turns out, they concluded that my husband was correct, we paid the $25, and he fixed it himself. It runs about 15 minutes, then goes kaput. We take it back... .pay another $25. Turns out now the crankshaft is broken and the whole engine needs to be replaced. Cost for an engine plus installation? $300! And no, it`s not under warranty. We paid $315 for the mower less than a year prior. So we just give it to my Dad and go out and buy another one, NO WAY would we ever mess with Troy Bilt again. Horrible horrible horrible. My Dad, a dentist, mind you, tinkers with it... Says, "OH, it`s an easy fix!" It was the flywheel key. So there ya go, Bulldog Small Engine repair... "specialists", don`t know how to appropriately diagnose - something they claim they are professional at doing. Not to mention the customer service is absolutely atrocious. They finished with the lawnmower the second time and took TWO WEEKS to call us! I walked in after 2 weeks and asked about it, and their response was, "Oh, no one called you?" Never buy a Troy Bilt, and NEVER go to this Bulldog Small Engine Repair. Wait wait... Their dog is cute.

I used them for many of my repairs and they always gave me the best price they are also some of the nicest people i have ever met. the owner David is the one you really need to meet. All my repairs have been done in a timely manner with a great price... what more could i have asked for.
