BEWARE, BEWARE. There are a LOT of bad reviews for this place. Wish I had seen them before I took my 09 Honda civic in two days ago for repair. Picked it up later that day and parted with $1500 for new a/c compressor, water pump, timing belt, new battery, etc. The next morning it was completely dead. they came and jumped it off and said I must have left a light on. I didn`t think so but drove it to work. Went to star... view moret it after work and completely dead again. To cut to the chase, I`ve had it jumped off FIVE times in the last two days. Took it in today and they got it working. Picked it up and A/C doesn`t blow cold. Taking it back tomorrow. Now after reading reviews here and other sites by people who feel they were taken advantage of I regret ever taking my car there. Who knows if it needed $1500 of work done? If I can just get it fixed after paying all this money, I will NEVER go back.

NEVER GO HERE! The manager Tim is a con man and I`ve heard the owner, Frank, isnt much better. He ripped me off on my oil change even though I had a coupon. He also told me all my fluids needed changing (brake, power steering etc.). He obviously didnt notice I had my inspection done 2 days before!!! While sitting in the waiting room, he called out every person who was taking advantage of the $20 special for oil chang... view moree and after inquiring, he told them all the same story. I had my wife call later to find the actual price of the oil change that I got and he quoted $20 cheaper. When i went back and asked for that amount refunded he was rude and clearly didnt care. I told him he was being dishonest (which his staff member behind him was aggressively nodding). I then turned to the others in the waiting room and said "he is going to tell you that you`re brake fluid and power steering fluid is dirty", to which they replied, "he already did!."

Biggest Rip Off EVER!!!!

Let me start by saying that i only gave one star because it is a requirment to put a review.......I took my car to econo lube n` tune on mockingbird ln. and they completely ripped me off.
i came in with my car over heating and told them exactly what the problems where that i was having. I paid $600 for what ever it is they fixed and my car is still over heating!! When i took it back the next day to have them look ... view moreat it again, they gave me another $600 plus quote to fix what they they said they already fixed. Needless to say I will never go there again and am going to do what ever i can to make sure they are shut down and never screw anyone over the way they did me.

VERY DISHONEST

I recently bought a used car with high miles and went in with a coupon to have the following done: radiator flushed, brake fluid flushed, oil changed, new air filter,transmission fluid changed, power steering fluid flush, fuel injectors cleaned, new fuel filter installed. All of this to be done for $199.99.I was told my 2001Toyota Solara required a transmission additive for an extra $20.00.Also was ... view moretold my rear brakes were metal to metal and needed to be done right away and the front brakes only had 15% left on brake pads. They told me the rear brakes were $400. I told them I could not spend an extra $400. for brakes and was told they could do everything else in one hour. This seemed next to impossible to me but when I questioned the time to do everything listed above was told there was 2 mechanics to work on it and every would be done properly and in one hour. I came back an hour later and it was complete and was told they could now do the rear brakes for $300. instead of the $400. quoted earlier.Again,I told them I couldn`t spend that much right then.Long story short I took the car to Midas on E.Northwest Hwy. which had excellent reviews online.
Midas told me I had 45% left on rear brake pads and that if it was metal to metal I would hear a grinding noise from brakes. Econo Lube lied and tried to take advantage of me since I am a female and have no auto
knowledge. Probably lied about what was actually done to my car, too.

Great Service, Very Freindly

The experience I had at Econo-lube was simply outstanding. They replaced my brake pads very quickly. The staff was friendly and doesn`t try to talk you into unnecessary maintenance. Plus free brake inspection and cheap oil changes. I would highly recommend Econo Lube `N Tune for oil changes and brake work, and I will definitely be going back for oil changes.
