Great Service in an Emergency

My car broke down on a Sunday afternoon while I was visiting family in Austin, and a family member recommended Austin Auto Techs on RR 620. I sent them an email that evening for an appointment Monday morning (a nice feature on their website!) and called as soon as they opened. They said I could have my car towed in and they would take a look at it, but they couldn`t promise it would be ready that day. I had it towed ... view moreto the shop and waited for a short time in their nice waiting room (TV, drinks, and lots of good magazines, very clean and neat). They checked out the car and told me what the problem was, quoted me a price, and said it would be ready by about 4 p.m. I was pleasantly surprised when they called around noon and said my car was ready. The price was exactly as they quoted, the car runs great, and they offer a service warranty that is good nationwide. I was able to get back on the road and back home much earlier than I had expected, thanks to their prompt attention to the repairs. Perfect service, courteous and friendly staff, clean and comfortable shop, and getting me home early after having car trouble out of town -- what more could I ask for in an auto repair shop?!
