Thank You for GREAT service!
What a day! My car broke down, I was running late, and it was miserably hot outside!
I called Aus Tex (referred by a friend... Thank You Vicki). Expecting the worst... I actually spoke to the nicest lady on the other end of the line. She had a driver to me within 15 minutes, who was CLEAN and NICE (and not typical of what I thought I would a wrecker driver would be). He allowed me to sit in his a/c while he loaded... view more my car... and he dropped me off at work on the way to taking the car into the shop!
I highly recommend Aus Tex... great people great service.. and much more than I ever expected!

Great Car Repairs and Went the Extra Mile!
For those who may need automotive body work done, you`ve got to know there`s a great shop out there doing great work. Whether or not you have a personal reference on where to get your car fixed; it`s still usually a gamble on the kind of work you`ll receive, and in what timeframe. I don`t post reviews, but I just have to say something about the service I`ve received at Austex. I`ve now used Austex twice and each time... view more I`ve gone to pick up my car, I can`t believe the work. Not only that, but they have exceptional customer service, which begins with their Receptionist(s) via your initial call (or visit through the front business door). You can spend your money anywhere, but finding the right place makes all the difference. Recently, on returning to Austex to pick up my ""finished"" car I actually didn`t recognize it because it didn`t look the same as when it went in. Not only did the bodywork look fantastic, but my car looked even `newer` because Austex had washed and armor-alled my car too! That`s a plus and a courtesy everyone can appreciate. I also had a small ""dent"" in one of the side panels of my car that I had wanted fixed; and I`d also purchased other ""small"" car parts on my own (a door handle, luggage rack piece, etc.) that I couldn`t put on myself and Austex was willing to help me out w/that too. I can`t say enough about my experience w/Austex. I do know it`s not easy for women (who know very little about mechanics/bodywork) to find places where they can feel as though they`ve been treated fairly and with respect. That`s what Austex did for me; great businesses and great people should be passed along so we can all benefit from their expertise. I just want to thank Tom, Kelsey and all the guys who worked on our car. Thanks so much!

Poor Workmanship and No Accountability
I would give less than one star if possible. My 2005 Kia Sorrento was sent to AusTex by my insurance company for repairs following a collision. They took two weeks to repair the car and there have been a multiple problems since then. Radiator reservoir and assembly was replaced and is now pouring fluid only two months later. When mentioned to Tom, the manager, he says that he won

Poor Customer Service and Bad Workmanship
My car was repaired and when I took it to a brake shop the next day they showed me suspension damage that had not been repaired. I returned to AusTex and showed them the evidence. They reluctantly agreed to complete the repairs after I insisted. They had charged me for a alignment that could not have been properly completed without the repairs they missed. Five months later I returned with paint peeling on the door ... view moreand they insisted that they had blended paint on the door but not at the spot where it was peeling. Their comment when I suggested that it seemed to be a strange coincidence that my paint was peeling inches from their repair and nowhere else was ""It happens all the time."" I am absolutely sure that is true at their shop. I would never recommend them to anyone. .

Nice Work!! Honest Shop!! AAAAAA+++++
Had an accident and Austex Towing picked up my car..........The wrecker Driver was very helpful when pickup up my car. He towed my vehicle to Austex Body And Frame on 1408 three points in Pflugerville Texas where they also have a body shop. The staff was very helpful and they repaired my car within the days they promised. My car looked just like it did when it was new and i am very happy with the hassle free experien... view morece. They earned my future business and my referrals. Thanks again and keep up the good work! I would give this company an AAAAAAAA+++++++++ Rating because everyone was very helpful in getting my car fixed and they are a very honest shop which is rare these days. Thanks again!

Family Owned Shop with Honest People
I needed to get my bumper replaced, and the original estimate was more than what my insurance was going to give me. The insurance said they would not pay for a new bumper because my car was a 2007, that they would only give me a refurbished one. Tom made some phone calls, and was able to get me a brand new bumper at the refurbished price. He dropped me off on the day I gave them my car, and his brother picked me u... view morep when it was ready. With all the insurance paperwork and drama, the staff was very helpful. I think I received about 3 faxes from them, and had over 5 phone conversations to get everything straight. Phone calls were promptly returned and they had my car fixed in one day, when they said it could take up to 3! I know that replacing the bumper isn`t the most difficult task for a body shop, and they actually don`t make a huge profit from the work, but the way this company handled my business has gotten them a lot of referrals and a customer for life.

Porsche 911 Recommended! Very Rare Honest Shop.
I have to admit I am pretty meticulous when it comes to my car. It seems I am prone to accidents (not always my fault), and I`ve had pretty regular trips to the body shop. In the past 2 years I have had a Ford F-150, BMW Z4 (twice), and this Porsche in the body shop. My girlfriend`s father owns a body shop in Houston, thus we are fairly familiar with body repair and also common practices of body shops. A... view moreus-Tex Body and Frame is a breath of fresh air in this industry. Tom Breeden, manager and estimator, not only knows his stuff, but is really an honest Repairs: Replace/Repaint Porsche 911 Carrera bumper, side skirts. -- Instead of having me buy a new bumper, he said they could just repair that bumper and repaint it, saving me around $800 USD. He also told me he could repair the side skirts, until he saw the other one, which was in pretty bad shape. -- I told Tom to send my wheel off to get it resurfaced by another company and just mark it up for me. Instead of doing that, he took care of it all, arranged pick up and drop off, put the wheel back on, and simply handed me their direct invoice. He did not mark it up a cent. -- I paid only $1200 for the entire job. A small customer to say the least. and yet living farther away without a ride, Tom personally dropped me off and offered to pick me up. -- He has a fellow in the paint department that`s worked in Germany for Porsche. My paint came out smooth, shiny, and looking really good. End result? My car looks better than before. I also found a body shop I feel comfortable bringing all my future cars to. I would HIGHLY recommend Aus-Tex to anyone looking to repair their car. They also have a 24x7 towing service available which I also used. The fellow seemed extremely happy to work for Aus-Tex and recommended Tom to me. He also helped me put my groceries in my friends car after totaling Lexus... but that`s for another time. I am a very hard man to please... and if I can trust a $130,000 car at Aus-Tex, I hope others can too! I am absolutely sure you will be wonderfully taken care. I did see some negative reviews on here before I went in so I was a bit hesitant to have them work on the car. It appears these reviews were during a period when Tom was not manager. I believe Tom has been working here only for the past few months. As long as Tom Breeden is there, this review stands firm.

Dont use this company!
Got in a wreck in my truck bent the axle and broke the shock, It took them over a month to get the parts all together, then they found out they had to cut out part of the back of my cab due to dammage done to the rocker panel. If they had at least inspected the vehicle better before doing the work they would have avoided half of the problems that slowed them down. Dont get me started On Rod. They guy doesnt know... view more the meaning of ""CALL ME!!"" If hadnt gone in, or called every 2 or 3 days, I would have had no Idea what was going on. Now my oil change place tells me that the fluid in my new(to me but really a junkyard low miles) rear end looks burnt. He told me he would look into what he could do two weeks ago. NO CALLS as usual. The underside of the paint work edges look horrible, but at this point, I am just happy my truck is back, as long as the damn differential doesnt lock up, Im done with this guy.

Customer service isnt all that
Sugarbritches12,
You almost made me spill my coffee when I read that you wrote ""Aus Tex staff was in touch with me nearly everyday to keep me updated on my repairs.""
I know better then that, I couldnt tell you how many times I had to call for an update and never had my calls returned.
Only way I found out was to walk into their office and demand an update. When I did go into their office I almost walked o... view moreut due to the the women who sits behind the glass window cussing and screaming at one of the tow truck drivers over the phone.
Granted the body men and the painters are great at their jobs, but the manager and the sour ""country"" looking women are hurting their customer service.
