They save me $600.00 on my vehicle repairs that I didn`t have they told me about the air check texas program and I got everything fixed and a state inspection if I hadn`t stop by for my check engine light was on I would have had to come up with the money . All I payed was the $39.75 for the inspection and $30.00 co pay. I would recommend Gillette Automotive to all my friends and family they are honest and reliabl... view moree people.

This is a shop that does what they say and charges as they estimated. If you have to have any other thing done, they always call before repairing. I appreciate their honesty and good work. I tell all my friends about Gillette.

Worst auto shop I have ever taken my car

By far the WORST place I have ever taken my car. My car needed a routine 60,000 miles tune up, so I brought it to gilette auto. They broke a hose flange, so the instant I drove it off the lot all of the coolant poured all over the road and my engine overheated. This ruined the water pump, timing belt, and thermostat. They ""fixed"" what they had messed up for $900 dollars, which should have been free in the first pla... view morece since they messed it up, but to top it off they didn`t put the water pump on correctly so it is still leaking coolant and they insist on being paid to fix their second mistake as well. Did I mention that they put a shotty air filter in during the tune up that broke my mass air flow? Or how about the fact that I had to pay for coolant three separate times ALL for a leak that they caused. I have NEVER written a review for any business because I have never been so poorly mistreated. PLEASE do not make the same mistake that I did.

Answer to Prayer

I was heading to NC when my alternator went. They appreciated my situation, made a quick diagnosis, rushed a new alternator and got me on my way. I would recommend this shop to anyone local or on the road. Compliments to them for a job well done.
