Be careful when dealing with this place. Took my car in for an A/C "Inspection" special of $19.99. Told it would be by end of day they would have estimate. End of next day, still nothing. Called to get disposition and was told there was a short in a wire controlling my fan and they were working on that to finish inspection. Got quote of $1400+ to replace compressor and accessories including wire. I declin... view moreed service and was ready to pay my $19.99, but was told it was $286 for labor repairing fan. When I contested, I was told by the owner - Darrin - that he obtained permission. I called BS on it, but since they have all the power at that point, I paid my ransom so I could retrieve my car and take it to trade in. Unfortunate $300 lesson. I don`t trust these guys and I would not recommend to anyone.

Very rude behavior, no customer friendly. Never call when the car was fixed, as promised. They have published in several websites including AARP that accept credit cards, but at the moment I need to pick up my car and pay over 400 dollars the manager toll me that only will accept cash payments and no other way are available to pick my car. They refuse to accept payment with cards. Made credit cards attrition. Finall... view morey after more than 10 minutes discussion the managers says OK, no drama, I will accept your card. Technically speaking, the manager said that didn`t know how the repair went and ask me to talk with the mechanic. Very strange.... I will not recommend this auto repair shop to anybody, there are better choices very close to this location. If you go, be aware that they might change the rules after you left your car.

RIP OFF!!!!!!

I needed to get my right suspension replaced and this place was trying to get over and charge double what other places were. I went to Precise Auto where I was literally charged half for the same work. I can`t believe it. Just beware.

Bad Service

I am a repeat customer until my last visit. I took my car to them they kept my car for over two weeks for a job that shouldve only took a cpl days. My car sounded worse when I picked it up! Parts weren`t put back on!! I took it back several times they claimed they fixed it and kept getting the run around!! What did my $1000 fix?!?! Absolutely NOTHING!! They`ve never pushed me for service I didn`t need in all the times I`ve been here. I haven`t felt comfortable trusting many mechanics I`ve known but I trust the ones here.

When I broke down on the I-20 ...

When I broke down on the I-20 I got in contact with a local towing company and they said I should have them take it to American Transmissions even though the issue was with the motor. I don`t know the area very well so I was skeptical at first, but I`m really glad things worked out.
