Horrible Experience
I purchased a 2002 Volvo S80 from Market Driven in Oct 2007. Within 3 weeks of owning the car, grinding noises began with the brakes. After taking it to a mechanic, they told me my front and rear brakes needed to be replaced. The front had virtually no brake pads remaining, that`s how shot they were. I called Market Driven to bring the matter to their attention. They refused to take accountability for the proble... view morem and said 2 weeks before I bought the car, their ""thorough"" inspection reported the brakes were at 50%. My question was, how do brakes go from 50% to nothing in less than 1 month? When I offered to bring the old brakes in for proof, an impudent employee named Mike told me there was no point because they were unwilling to do anything about it. My advice - if you feel inclined to buy from this unethical, contriving company, get your car checked by a trustworthy mechanic before wasting your money.
