In June of 2012 I was rear ended at a red light inPortland, which resulted in damage to my tailpipe and exhaust system. I am from out of town and would not be able to drive home in that condition. A nearby tire store ("A-1") pulled the tailpipe off of my tire and referred me to Darrel`s Economy Muffler`s, even though several national chains were also nearby. I was initially concerned that this smaller r... view moreepair/muffler shop would attempt to do more work than was necessary, delay me for several hours, or overcharge me. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Not only were the gentlemen at Darrel`s Economy Mufflers polite, professional, and amazingly fast, they also completed the necessary work free of charge, since it was minimal. I was back on the road within minutes. I could not be more grateful. If I ever have automotive trouble in Portland I will go to Darrel`s Economy Mufflers regardless of how far away I am. Furthermore, if you`re in need of help with your exhaust system let me offer you my personal assurance that Darrel`s Economy Muffler`s is the place you should choose. Just had a great experience with

Just had a great experience with Darrel`s Economy Mufflers. I have a 2001 Toyota Sienna which has three catalytic converters and my engine light kept coming on. They diagnosed it for free and offered me a few options for replacement. I brought two other of my vehicles here and both times they were honest and stuck to their price. Good guys!

Today was my first experience at Darrell`s and I will be a forever customer from here on out. Not only did they have the best price in town, but they were the friendliest as well. Great work and HONEST

I`ve been going to Darrel`s since it was first referred to me over ten years ago. These guys are GREAT. They`re hard workers, fast, and are actually HONEST. These guys build race cars and have walls full of awards. They really seem apply the same care and attention to street vehicles as they do their award winning cars. As a woman who knows more about cars than most men, I particularly appreciate that they`re not pat... view moreronizing to me because I`m a woman, too.
