I would recommend that you don`t go to main auto body they don`t like to keep true to they`re lifetime guarantee my a**I`ve been in and out of they`re office twice and there is still no fixing the sh*t job they did in gluing the pieces back on. I will never go there again and would much rather pay more than have them touch my car again. Don`t let them appraise your car for total loss

I`ve had Main Auto Body do body work three or four times in the past 25 years and they have been adequate and I have been pleased with the work. However, they recently appraised my auto for total loss valuation per CCC Valuesource`s input form and they screwed up everything. First, the appraiser, Joe, did not see that the car had air conditioning or a CD changer. Next he marked all condition elements ""good"" (one g... view morerade above the lowest rank) when the condition was clearly ""above average"" (all maintenance records, no stains, no tears, no wear, no built-up grease, no leaks, no squeeks...car had 60,000 miles on it). We had to take our own pictures and send them to the insurance company who agreed the condition was obviously ""well maintained"" and duh, it had air conditioning and CD. When I asked Joe why he rated it the way he did he said ""Well, it was an older car so I just marked everything `good`...if it was ready for the dealer I would have marked it `very good`."" The upshot is there is a dealer ready grade on the score sheet called ""excellent"". My take on this is that Joe needs to retire as he obviously doesn`t give a rip about the consequences of his appraisal. Either that or he is getting a a kickback form the insurance company. I really doubt that he actually inspected the car.
