Screwed up my wipers

I took my car in for an oil change and had them change my wipers at the same time. When I went to use the windshield wiper, the passenger side wiper blade arm was moving all hurky-jurky. Upon closer inspection, it is apparent that the guys at Jiffy Lube completely broke the fastener that holds the windshield wiper`s motor and keeps it from moving when the wipers move. When I went back and showed them the problem... view more, they refused to admit guilt and did not offer to repair it. Instead they told me to go to a dealer and pay for the repair myself. They created the problem, so they should be the ones to fix it. It`s just the right thing to do. Instead they denied everything and left me hung out to dry.

Amazing Oil Change Experience!

Let`s face it, nobody likes to get their oil change. But it has to be done. Why not do it at a place that knows what they are doing, has a near sterilely clean environment and has genuinely friendly employees. I found all this at the Jiffy Lube at 11150 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. I am 33 years old and I have had the oil changed in my car every 3000 miles on the dot since I got my first car when I was 16. I am now incharge of 5 company cars and vans. I bring them all to this Jiffy Lube.

I can`t tell you how many crummy oil change locations I have sworn to never go to again. I am so glad I found this Jiffy Lube. It is my Jiffy Lube for life!

You`ll sure get lubed there!

These guys always made me feel like I needed to be on-guard with them for some reason and I always rechecked everything after I left. I never left my car with them - and then my gut feel was confirmed on my second time there. I never do anything other than just the standard $19 oil change, and when they did the light check, they told me my reverse lights were out. I refused fixing them - and had to refuse a couple ti... view moremes as they were pushy. They always insisted I need a new belt or filter or had some `major oil leak` when I know those things are just fine. They wanted to charge $10-20 for the bulb(s) when I knew I could drive a few blocks and get them an napa for $2.99. Anyway, I went home and checked it out myself - bulbs were fine, and have been ever since. Totally lied. Don`t ever go to these guys - totally shady. Bit of friendly advice - oil change places are scams. They`ll try to upsell or tell you all kinds of parts are bad when they are unequivacably not. Cars are made to last longer now than ever - and none of these flushes or replacing of belts, filters, etc need to happen ever 3k miles. Read your owners manual - oil changes every 6000 miles is *recommended*. Flushes of trannys/transfer cases/antifreeze is to be done at 50/100k range only once and in case of trannys/transfer - NEVER as they can damage the part. jiffy lube is not to be trusted! DON`T EVER EVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!

Basically, I took my car there for an oil change, the next day, I drove it to Canada, the radiator cap wasn`t tight, the car over heated and fried it`s engine - I had to leave the car in canada because the thing wasn`t worth fixing it was so fried.

Jiffy Lube has cameras so you can see the service that is being performed, but the cameras are behind the person who is doing the work on the engine so you really... view more can`t see anything. Everyone knows radiator caps don`t come lose on their own - jiffy lube insists the radiator cap was tight, even though they can`t REALLY prove it - we can`t prove it either...we are taking them to court.

DON`T EVER EVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO JIFFY LUBE! THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED...AND OF COURSE, THIS IS ALL COMMON KNOWLEDGE, TOO BAD I DIDN`T LISTEN TO THE WARNINGS I READ ON LINE BEFORE THIS HAPPENED!
