Reviews:

The Best Repair Experience I`ve Ever Had!
I needed my fender fixed on my car. Looking at local body shops I was recommended to use Kadel`s from my dealership since they are close to where I live. I am sorry the person who posted before me had a horrible experience at the Hillsboro location, but mine was the complete opposite. I looked online about reviews and was nervous after reading the previous post, but it was a Saturday and they were the only loca... view morel shop open who is AAA approved and a high rating with the BBB. The Estimator was friendly, knowledgeable and recommended to me to contact my insurance even though I didn`t think it would be covered. Before I was able to confirm with my insurance company about the claim the inspector was already in contact with Kadel`s and already approved it. I was told that it would take a week and a half and was done in less than a week! I even got phone calls updating me during the week about the repair. I hope not to have to spend time in a repair shop often, but I would go back to the Hillsboro location in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone to get their car fixed there.

DON`T GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAR.
This place is in bed with the insurance companies. After taking 5 weeks to repair our car (from a crash that was not our fault in the first place), we had to go in and DEMAND to get our car back after the vendor delivered the wrong part for the second time and pushed out the finish date another week. They tried to get us to pay a deductible and sign paperwork saying that our car`s repairs were finished and all that n... view moreeeded to be done was the door trim. My insurance company advised me not to pay the deductible until repairs were completed but if Kadel`s said it was fine to drive, we were allowed to take it home. The manager, JERRY, pulled my husband and I aside, cornered us in the side office near the bathrooms and said that if I promised to give them 10s on their customer service when I received my survey from Allstate about them, they would let us have our car back. Naturally, I said yes because at that point, I was too sketched out to keep our car there. What we found when we got home was appalling. I have an entire list of things wrong but here are the major ones: As a result from the accident, there was a crack in the windshield. It did not get repaired nor replaced. They took our transmission out and replaced it with a used, greasy one from a junk yard, without even calling us to get authorization. Our original transmission had a warranty on it and was only 4 months old at the time of the accident. When my husband visited two days before we picked up the car, nothing on it had been mounted, the window was rolled down durning a thunderstorm and wasn`t covered at all (yes, the passenger seat has water damage. Thanks Kadel`s). The next day when we drove by again, the car was suddenly all put together. Our Hi-Flo oil filter was replaced by something Made in Mexico. There`s an exhaust leak in an $800 custom kit. Our insurance company wanted to take our car here and unfortunately, this is the result. Let me just say our car is now at the dealership because in Oregon, you have a right to choose your own repair shop. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PARTICULAR SHOP. They will not bolt things down, they will leave broken parts on your car and all around mess it up. My parents also had two bad experiences with these guys, one being that they took 3 weeks to decide to total my mother`s Malibu and when they didn`t completely bolt down a bumper for my father (who was a certified auto mechanic for many, many years). If I had known this prior to all this, I would have taken the car out of that shop sooner. Please save yourself the headache and go to a place that will charge the same price and do quality work.
