We just purchased our third car from
We just purchased our third car from Sunset and I wouldn`t buy anywhere else. The sales people, particularly Shane and Ammar, are really great. No pressure and friendly. We have always worked out a great deal in a short amount of time. The service department is great as well, never had an issue and your car comes out clean! I would like to thank Sunset for providing a stress-free, easy car buying experience. We`ll be... view more back for sure.

While searching for a car, I spent
While searching for a car, I spent several afternoons at Sunset. The sales staff seemed to be genuinely nice people. They treated me with patience, respect, and never made me feel pressured in any way. Although I did not buy a car there (I had a very specific car in mind that they didn`t have in stock) I would definitely go back there next time I`m in the market for a car.

Love Sunset Audi
I bought my first Audi from them back in April of 2010, I wasn`t even planning on buying a car that day I just wanted to check the car out. I fell in love and I decided to buy it but I had to be out of there in 30 minutes to get to a family birthday celebration. They made the process quick and painless, got me a great deal and got me out of there on time. Unfortunately, I was in a car accident and my car was total... view moreed in October. I LOVED that car so much, it just broke my heart. But Shane Randall at Sunset Audi helped me with pricing information that I used to negotiate the price of the car with the insurance information and has been actively looking for a new car to meet my particular needs. The poor guy has answered literally hundreds of my emails over the last 2 months. The only thing I can possibly agree with in the negative comments is that their service department did take an entire 8 hours to change the oil in my car, didn`t offer a loaner and the ladies that took my payment were a little too inconvenienced by my attempt to pay my service bill. However, when I needed help or had questions they have always have been accommodating and friendly. I am going to buy my next car from them and I hope that others don`t allow the negative comments from going to Sunset and judging them for yourselves.

I must say that Sunset Audi really is trying????¦
After having a horrible experience right off, Sunset has made an effort to try and make things right. After getting a personal phone call from the operations manager and having what seemed like a sincere and authentic conversation, I do feel like the company truly wants to make up for the actions of a rogue employee. Aft... view moreer much deliberation, my husband and I have made the decision to give Sunset another chance in the hopes that they can correct a terrible first impression and create a lasting relationship with us as customers. I have to commend them for making the effort and I do hope that this time around, things are different. I am a hard person to persuade, but so far they are back on the right track. **********ORIGINAL POST NOVEMBER 2011: My husband and I had the displeasure of dealing with Sunset Audi this weekend. Despite all the horror stories we had heard and being warned against dealing with Sunset by our close friends, we decided to give them a chance and judge for ourselves - and boy, was everybody right. We initially met and worked with a VERY nice young man named Ryan Crooks. He was knowledgeable and very informative. We found a car that seemed to fit our needs perfectly and Ryan was helpful in giving us the information we needed to make an informed decision. After deliberating overnight, we decided to return to Sunset to start the process. Completely versed in the ""typical"" cay buying experience, we were fully prepared to go back and forth negotiating a mutually beneficial price on the CPO 2009 A5. As smart and rational buyers, we did our homework and came prepared. After what seemed to be a fruitless negation initially, we were introduced to the floor manager, Dan Fajardo - who was by far the RUDEST and most DISRESPECTFUL salesperson I have ever encountered in my life. Within 5 minutes he managed to yell at us, accuse us of lying about the terms of the previous lease on the vehicle (even though we had paperwork and a car fax to prove otherwise), cut us off mid-sentence and get up and walk out of the conversation. I have never felt so degraded and demeaned in my life. There are not enough appropriate words to accurately convey how completely awful Dan and the whole experience was. It seems that at Sunset Audi, if you don`t fit the ""luxury car"" persona, you don`t deserve the time of day. Needless-to-say we will never set foot in Sunset again. We will be taking our money and our business to Seattle and purchasing a car from University Audi. I encourage anyone else in the area to do the same.

I don`t know what the other 2 reviews are on about,
Honestly, I don`t know what these two reviewers are talking about. The people I know of who have serviced their cars there in the past have been satisfied. They have great service. They know how to treat their customers. Whenever I brought my car in, even with the slightest of flaws, they took care of the issue without hesitation. The workers there are friendly, and know how to treat a customer.
They are always on... view more time, and they will treat your car as if it is their own. They never fooled around to avoid any sort of repairs whatsoever (not that I struggled with the car.)
My only slight issue is their loaner`s car. There are certain characteristics one needs to meet to be eligible for it (age).

Believe the One-Star Reviews
When I walked in to check out a car, I was the only person in the building. Two sales people were at their desks and neither bothered to get up until I motioned for assistance. The ""showroom"", by the way, doesn`t have a single chair.
I liked the car I saw, so I came back a week later. This time a sales person came out, but walked up to me without saying anything. After driving the car, we talked about pr... view moreice and I was told I would get a call back the next day. The call never came, so I called at 4:00 that afternoon. The sales person told me he hadn`t done anything yet and would call me back in 30 minutes, The call never came.
Extremely poor service. Based on my experience and the reviews I`ve read here, it really does appear they just don`t care.
Definitely go somewhere else.

Horrible
I was looking for a high end sports car for a while and have gone to several places to do so. I started with The Lovejoy Car Company who had Ferrari`s, Porsche`s, BMW`s, etc. and the service was great. Then I went to Sunset Porsche Audi. The service was the worst I had ever received. Super high pressure, and cold. I then went to Kuni BMW. I was utterly floored at the difference. AMAZING customer service. The best! I ... view morekept looking as I was undecided, but ended up leaning towards a Porsche. I again returned to Sunset Porsche and was treated miserably. So, I went elsewhere and bought a beautiful flawless Porsche... and am extremely happy with it. My 30k service came up recently and I called Sunset Porsche Audi and was treated terribly again. So, I have gone elsewhere. Finally I returned to Sunset Porsche Audi for something as simple as a car cover and was treated like trash.
They have the WORST service I have ever received. I have given them many many tries and they have never treated me with the slightest kindness.
I do not recommend them unless you like feeling like garbage.

Outstanding Sevice
I live in Los Angeles, but had spent 6 weeks working in Portland. My husband drove our Audi A3 up north so that we could take a long, meandering road trip back to L.A. along the coast and through the forests. Upon his arrival, he said that the car was losing force and felt ""funny."" I took it out, and he was absolutely right. We needed to leave the very next morning, otherwise we wouldn`t have the extra time we ... view moreneeded to take the long way. Not knowing where to go, I took my car to Sunset Imports and was blown away by the heroic measures they took to get me out the same day. Though they knew that I would not be a returning customer for service or sales, and therefore didn`t need to ""invest"" in cultivating a long-term relationship with me, they treated me like their favorite customer. In the end, they shoehorned my service into their busy schedule (without pointing out that they were doing me a favor) and did the research necessary to ensure that I didn`t have to pay for the part. They even pointed out a few minor issues I should take up with my local Audi dealer. I don`t know what kind of service people in Oregon are used to, but personally speaking, I wish I could transfer the employees and attitude of Sunset Imports to L.A. Thanks guys!

Are things going good at Sunset Imports?
Called and scheduled service for Porsche to occur while I was out of town. As requested before dropping off my car I called to ensure they were ""prepared to receive"" me?ˆ”I got their voice mail. When I arrived no one greeted me. The place was empty--zero customers--ZERO customer service. I had to go to an office and request assistance. As it turns out the Service person I called was off that day (no mention of t... view morehis on their voice mail). The individual that did assist me initially provided good service and follow up that day and the next however, additional follow up (which was committed by them and needed) did not occur. I had to call 4X (each time leaving voice mail messages) until I reached someone in service to get a disposition on my vehicle. My calls spanned throughout the day (8 am - 3:30 pm). Worst of all I had to have the receptionist call/page the Service department multiple times and waited on hold while someone was located. Did I mention I left the car for 4 days? The work was to take only one day. I scheduled to pick up the car on Saturday at Audi (which is available for those that travel during the week). When I walked in there were no customers at all in the building or on the property (it was just after they opened so that may explain the lack of customers). There must have been 10 sales reps on the floor--each one looked at me as I entered and continued on gabbing with their fellow Sales reps. ZERO customer service--AGAIN! Even the receptionist was involved in the sales gab and unresponsive to a customer entering the facility. Once again I had to ask for assistance. Did I miss something about customer service and greeting the customer? Does Sunset Imports really know what perception they convey to the customer? My impression is the staff at this business is arrogant and certainly does not need my business to survive. My guess is business must be good at Sunset Imports. I hope your experience is better than mine. Good luck.
