Horrible Experience

I had 2 friends with BMW e30`s take their cars to Jozies and had a great experience. He went through their entire cars and actually fixed the problems. So I was excited when I took my e30 there. It was having a problem that I couldn`t figure out. The first time I took my car there, Jozie had one of his men work on it. They just put new spark plugs in it and said it was fixed. They charged me $200 for spark plugs. I g... view moreot it home and it kept having the same problem but was getting worse so I took it back to Jozies. He had it for over a month and told me that it was running great and he couldn`t diagnose the problem. I told him he needed to DRIVE it in order to duplicate the problem He said it drove it every morning and it ran fine. I went to pick it up and after Franco started it and drove it over to me, it was having problems as I drove out of the gate. I decided to take it over to German Autowerks and see if they could diagnose the issue. The first day they had it, they figured out that the spark plugs that Jozie had put in were the wrong kind and wouldn`t work with the 2.7 engine. They also had put a lubricate on the spark plugs which had ruined them. It seems like Jozie would have known what would work with this engine. He either didn`t know how to work on e30`s or didn`t want to work on my car at all. They also found that the ECU/DME was broken which was causing the problem in the first place. The problem that Jozie just ""couldn`t figure out"". Jozie had my car for over a a month twice and didn`t even try to test anything. I find it hard to believe that he would do that to somebody but the experience I had there is enough to hope nobody else tries to take their old BMW there ever again. German Autowerks charged me $45 to diagnose the problem when Jozie`s charged me $150 just for the wrong diagnosis. Jozie actually asked me if I was starting my car correctly and wanted to watch me try to start it!! He didn`t believe me or just really didn`t care. I honestly DON`T recommend anybody going back there with a BMW. Maybe it was because I`m a girl and he thought he could get away with not working. I don`t know but it`s been an awful and expensive experience.
