Reviews:
Right away I noticed that though the engine did sound smooth, the Anit-lock brake light was coming on intermittently. I didn`t think anything of it because the brakes seemed to be fine and at least now the car I just bought is running. Then the steering started getting ""weird"" on left turns. The steering would tighten and and the brakes would lock up slightly. Left turns, go figure. Within two weeks of Alex Ortega ""fixing"" my car the brakes went out totally and the steering column locked up on a left turn in traffic. We narrowly missed being sideswiped. I tried calling him to discuss it with him but he would not return my calls. I called Affordable Auto to try to resolve this with them and when I mentioned that the mechanic who did the work wouldn`t call me back, I was told that he said - get this - that he felt that I was attracted to him and I made him uncomfortable so he didn`t want to talk to me.
It is my opinion that Mr. Ortega either knowingly left this vehicle in dangerous condition OR he is a lousy mechanic who messed up somehow. Either way, he is defintely in the pocket of Affordable Auto, and he clearly has no personal integrity. Yes, I plan on suing him, right after I`m done with John Hill.
PS - the weird attraction accusation/excuse should be enough for you women out there to think twice before going to him.
