Purchased an SUV from this dea...
Purchased an SUV from this dealership location in July of last year. When I first saw the SUV, I wanted to buy it... until I test drove it. I heard noises coming from the engine and brakes and saw a bunch of sensor lights came on and stayed on after I turned the car on. The brakes appeared to be insanely dirty and didn`t look normal. When I brake, the brakes didn`t brake right. I told the sales person, Jason, about t... view morehe problems, and his exact words were... the car is in perfect shape. He told me the sensor lights supposed to appear and stay on and the brakes were brand new. He said the car sat on the lot for a long time, so thats why the brakes were dirty, and his mechanic will clean them and inspect the car again if I wanted the car. I told him I will come back to buy the car if they check everything again and the car has to be in great shape. The sensor lights and brakes must be fixed. I told him many times I`m not going to buy a car when there are major problems. I know used cars are not like brand new cars, so I don`t mind the scratches and little problems, but brakes and sensor lights are not little problems. When I came back, the brakes seemed a little cleaner than before, but the noises were still there. He told me since the car sat on the lot for a long time, thats why they were dirty and made noises. he told me I have to drive it for a long time until the dirt come off and noises go away. He told me he would never lie to me and very honest. I was iffy about it, but he said if the brakes still making noises after I got it, he will fix it, and he gave me his word. I mentioned about the sensor lights still came on and stayed on the whole time I was test driving it for the second time, and he told me the same story again. He told me to give the car time, and he will fix it if they still stay on after I got it. He promised the car was in great shape and there was nothing wrong with the car. He told me many times to give the car a chance, and if I`m still not happy after I got it, he will fix the problems. I trusted him and got the car. I made a mistake. 2 weeks later, the brakes still not working right and still making noises. Also the sensor lights still came on and stayed on the whole entire time I was driving it. Went to Voss and had the mechanic there look at the brakes, and he told me the brakes had no life, and I must get new brakes right away. Called and spoke to Jason, and he denied telling me the brakes were new and denied telling me he will fix the problems if I`m still not happy after I got the car. Advised I will come to the dealership to see him at this date and time, and he agreed to meet with me in person to work things out. Came to the dealership at the exact time agreed, and as I was pulling in, I saw him got in a car and pulled out. Waited for him for 15 minutes, but he didn`t come back. Called him several times, but no answer. Called the dealership and Jason`s cell phone several times after that day, but no answer. Left several voicemail messages, but no word from them. Went to several shops to have the car check out again, and I was told the brakes were bad, and they had no life. The mechanics advised me to get new brakes right away. Told the mechanics what Jason told me, and they all told me Jason lied about the brakes and the sensor lights. Had to get new brakes and still trying to get money to fix the sensor lights. When I got the registration papers of the car, a letter of the last name spelled wrong. Called them again, but no answer. Contacted the financial institution and asked the guy that did my loan paper several times to contact the dealership for me since they are ignoring me, and he said he did several times, and they told him they are fixing it. Went to the BMV to register for the car and had to go through hell to get the car registered and was told next time I come back, I have to have the last name spelled right. Still no correct papers from the dealership
