The guys that work there (owner`s son, finance guy, (Dave especially) mechanics etc...) are great! The owner, however, is rude and hot tempered. I got a great interest rate thanks to my good credit, yet he yelled at my mother that we should be more appreciative because "they" got us the interest rate. Unfortunately, based on his behavior and minor things I keep finding wrong with the truck I bought I would not recommend this dealer. I find it funny the dealer keeps trying to keep up with reviews online defending themselves, but there are more complaints than they can manage. Maybe the dealer is the problem and should take a look in the mirror. Being a marketing and sales major I have often noticed the biggest issue is a business needs to re-evaluate the way the sell and what they sell. I purchased an automobile from this dealership in August, 2013. First of all, the Salesman was very rude to me and actually told me to "leave his dealership" after I asked for a few dollars off the car because of some repairs that had to be made. I was about to leave the dealership and another Salesman came out and indicated that the "Owner" sent him out because he did not want any customer to lea... view moreve his dealership "unhappy". So I ended up purchasing the car. You may wonder why I bought the car after all the trouble. I had been looking for a particular car and this dealership had the car. The dealership was about 3 hours from my home. After 30 days went by, I went into a license agency in my hometown to purchase my license plates. The customer service rep was puzzled after finding out that the dealership had given me 30 day plates FOR A MOTORCYCLE. The license ageny called the dealership and asked where my title was. The dealership indicated that they had not processed it yet. The license agency told them that they needed to get the title in my name and get it to me right away. The dealership told them that they would process it and mail it out via "overnight" that day. THEY DID NOT!!! Prior to going to the license agency, I had called the dealership several times and they did not call back. I have filed a complaint with the State of Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. If you are considering purchasing an automobile from this dealership, I would think again if I were you. There are many other dealers you can go to that will provide much better customer service. I see all these "good" reviews and I wonder who wrote them. I cannot possibly be alone in my experience with this dealership.

I had a great buying experienc...
I had a great buying experience with Phoenix. I needed a truck and got a heck of a deal; the entire process took less than an hour and I was driving. Everyone who has seen the truck, including my mechanic, has said I got the better deal for the money. I would definitely recommend Phoenix as the process is simple. You get to test drive any car you like and run it through it`s paces. Dave is the most honest car gu...
Dave is the most honest car guy I have ever met. If you need a quality, fair priced car this is the place to go. They will go out of there way to make sure that you are happy. Phoenix is the place to buy vehicles-I have purchased two from Dave and would recommend him to everyone and anyone.

I have dealt with better car places didn`t think about it at the time.
No one was ever rude to me; Gary was pleasant. However, when an issue came up about this car, he would say we cant do that or we don`t do that. It was a vehicle with a price on the windshield. After test driving it, we were told that wasn`t the correct price. They immediately wiped that price off of the ca... view morer. Gary said that they have a lot of employees and they make mistakes. Most of us know that if a price is there that you see when you are ready to purchase something, it is the price you get, but know`; he wouldn`t leave it as is. Very disappointed. Didn`t let us change our minds about the original purchase; It wasn`t three days. I thought you could cancel a contract in three days. It wasn`t three days. The blower when out in the car, no heat; it was less than thirty days. I think they should do a better job by inspecting there vehicles. Good product means satisfied customer. Times are to hard to be scamming customers. I should have checked out the reviews first or called the BBB. Purchase was for my son in college to get back and forth. He used his money. Sorry, I can`t recommend this company to anyone. People will ask so they won` t bother. We all know how word of mouth spread. Good and Bad Business!

This dealership is a total JOK...
This dealership is a total JOKE!!! Carfax report + 3 month/3000 mile warranty+ Austin saying the "Mustang" drove as smooth as it looked = Me getting a loan and drove 2 hours to find a piece of JUNK!!!! Vibration and swaying all over the road everytime you hit a bump is NOT a smooth ride! If I want vibration, I will either ride on my Harley, or I`ll stop at the Lion`s Den on the way home!
Also, telephone... view more calls from Austin on the way home asking why we didnt take the car, and once I told him the motor was covered in oil and antifreeze, as well as what was going on in the frontend, that I wasnt buying something I couldnt depend on. He must not liked my reply, so he then needed to say how rude we were to his "sales guy" .. which was more like a "sales kid" because he didnt look like he was out of high school. I`m not rude.. I just dont like my time wasted or people try ripping me off.
Bottom line, dont buy from this dealership.. tisk tisk ..

only reason im writing this review is for all you who keep saying how rude and in-attentive these people are.....that is all part of the NO HAGGLE SALES!! which i found to be great, he came out showed us a few things, answered some questions, was HONEST and for a car salesman...thats rare!! then he said look around and when your ready or need anything just let me know.. wow...sounds really rude doesn`t it?? i can not... view more stand salesman that are constantly on your as*..... my dad is 65 and just two months ago was conned into buying an 85 car for almost $9000... cant see that happening here at phoenix... the only reason i didn`t give five stars is because we did not actually purchase a car from them... YET...
i think you guys were awesome, had nice cars at fair prices,were honest and best were inside!!
for those of you who think they are `rude` my advice would be, if your that stuck up why are you looking at a place in akron anyways and why not go the dealer where you`ll pay double for the same cars phoenix has and NOT get a warranty

I have had the opportunity to deal with Phoenix Indoor Auto Sales on several occasions. I was instantly impressed with the customer service and helpfulness of the staff. I appreciated the fact that I was not hounded and was able to look at the vehicles on my own. The staff was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and they worked with me to come to a happy ending.

I purchsed a vehicle from Phoenix Indoor Auto On Saturday, Sept. 9,2011. I live 3 hour away and found the vehicle on Auto trader. My husband went to see the vehicle and test drove the vehicle before we decided to purchase it. The son Austin was very nice, but the parent are very rude. Upon arriving the husband nor his wife never once greeted or spoke to me or my husband. Their son who was totally opposite from h... view moreis parents. After signing all of our paper work my husband and I went outside so that he could show us all the perks on how to operate the vehicle. The father (owner) and his wife never once acknowledged us nor even said thank you for purchasing the vehicle. I have never been treated that way when purchasing a vehicle and if it had of been up to me, I would have never attempted to purchase from them. ( My husband was the one whom the vehicle was being purchased for and he really liked the vehicle). However, we drove the vehicle home 2004 Land Rover (Range Rover). As soon as we got home my husband stopped at the barber shop and when he came back out to start the vehicle the air suspension light came on. My husband instantly called the owner who insisted nothing was wrong with vehicle. The vehice was dropped so low in the front and hiked up high in back you could not even drive it. Keep in mind that this was no longer than 5-hours after purchasing the vehicle. We took the vehicle to the Land Rover dealership who diagnosed that it needed shocks on both sides in the front ( ESTIMATE $2500) We called the them back and they said they would pick the vehicle back up and have it checked out. They had the vehicle for 2 days and never once called us. We eventually called them and they said that we would have to come out of our pockets $1000. They were not willing to pay anything to fix the vehicle. Befor they picked the vehicle up they acted as if they had no problem with taking the vehicle back and returning us our down payment. Today I called them and told them that we don`t feel that we should be responsible for fixing a vehicle that we did not have in our possession for more than 5 hours and the owner was very nasty and stated that he was not giving us anything back and we were legally bound to the vehicle and told me to have my lawyer contact them and hung up on me. He is Bi-Polar and very rude and goes from one extreme to another. I personally would have never puchased a vehicle from them in the first place, but my husband wanted the vehicle and he decided to go with the purchase from Phoenix. PLEASE CONSIDER PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM SOMEONE WHO APPRECIATES YOU, YOUR MONEY and YOUR BUSINESS. I have so much more to say about this experience but my goal goal is to inform others to really think twice about purchasing a vehicle from them. If it happened once, I`m sure it has happened before and I`m positive it wil happen again. Don`t let this happen to you!

STOOD THERE FOR 30 MINUTES AT THE SALES COUNTER AND THE SALESMAN WAS BUSY STANDING AROUND TALKING ON HIS PHONE LAUGHING AND IGNORING ME AND MY WIFE! HE WAS TO BUSY TALKING TO OTHER EMPLOYEES IF ITS THAT HARD TO BUY A CAR HOW HARD WOULD IT BE TO GET ANY PROBLEMS RESOLVED AFTER YOU BUY IT. I WENT TO PARK FORD AND WAS GREETED RIGHT AWAY AND TAKEN CARE OF WE NOW OWN A NICE CAR.
