Please do some very good research and find an honest and trustworthy mechanic to work on your vehicle. I got everything but that! I called this place in the spring of 2010 and they gave me the best quote and made everything sound very reassuring. That was as good as it got though. They replaced the motor in my vehicle and I guess I should have figured something wasn`t right when they got the incorrect motor and had t... view moreo go back and search for another one. AFTER purchasing the motor they told me that it only had 50-60,000 miles on it but when I asked for paperwork on the parts and labor for my vehicle he became very rude and defensive and claimed he couldn`t give them to me because he needed them for his TAXES! (Wouldn`t even allow me to have copies upon my request!) All that he gave me was a yellow reciept (hand written) with the cost of the parts and labor. George I believe is his name also quoted me a specific amount of hours it would take to install the motor and gave me a price, then after the work was done added about 4 hours stating he wanted to make sure everything was done correctly (extra money in his pocket). Personally if he was a good and honest mechanic he would have done everything correctly the first time and wouldn`t have had to spend all that extra time going back through making sure it was correct! So getting to my point here. After giving that man $2,300 of my money I got about 18 months of use out of a motor that was only supposed to have 50-60,000 miles on it and now I`m back in the same position I was when I first came to him. The motor is no longer any good and has the same problem my last motor did that had 180,000 miles on it. The mechanic I have taken it to this time who is very well known and does good quality work said the motor is in bad condition and more than likely had about 160,000 miles on it and NOT 60,000!!! It`s Fall 2011 and I`m very upset that I basically threw all that money away for only 18 months additional use of my vehicle. Please anyone who reads this be aware that this man isn`t in it for the quality work and honesty. He`s in it for the money. It really makes me sick!
